Nice location and friendly enough staff but the bagel menu needs serious help. Five choices I believe and no everything bagel which I heard three people try to order when I was there (including myself) and plain cream cheese only. It is 2016 after all. And the large coffee cup to go is quite small.

We had a light breakfast before heading up the hill to see more of this wonderful city. The cafe has a pretty decent selection. We tried a cinnamon bun and scone with our coffee. They were good. Coffee was very good. Atmosphere was True to our Canadian heritage with the Muskoka chairs and moose paraphernalia.

Stopped in for a quick brunch and coffee. Homemade English muffins. Had great service. Walking distance from the waterfront and hotels.

The tea and cinnamon raisin bagel was really good AND cheap! Lovely, cosy chairs, and lots of sweet decorations. Maybe it is a winter cafe...

It is always nice to find a place with a smile and has excellent service and food. You will find that Cabin Coffee in Halifax has all this. I have eaten here for the past three mornings and would continue to eat here if my stay were longer. Top quality, great service and the atmosphere is very Canadian. Just try... More

Great location. Great service. Coffee is very good. The cinnamon rolls are freshly baked on site. Be sure to get one. Free wifi. Comfy seating plus work areas make this a place worth going to.

There is a wonderful breakfast sandwich/ coffee special here that I highly recommend. I was staying across the street at the Marriott. A similar breakfast in their uninviting Bistro is much more expensive and not as tasty. I normally avoid breakfast sandwiches, but these were made with very fresh ingredients and were not greasy.

The decor is awesome. Feels like you have stepped into a cabin for sure. Lots of seating, so no uncomfortable moments waiting for people to clear out. I had the caramel macchiato and it was by far better than Starbucks version. This is my second time here and I will walk past any mainstream coffee shop anytime for them. Next... More
