We rarely eat lobster where we live; these seemed like a very good ones to us. The lobster dinner came with clam chowder, salad, and dessert. We didn't ask for an ala carte option, although in retrospect we ought to have done. The chowder was...More

Walk don't run for excellent mussels and lobster and divine rice pudding. And check out the local white wine. We're NYC foodies and this is the real deal.

The Bluenose II is a nice restaurant. It offered the typical breakfast menu and my husband and I shared French toast and an egg, sausage, hash brown and toast breakfast. There is nothing really to distinguish it from any other restaurant that serves breakfast in...More

My wife and I visited the Bluenose 2 while in Halifax on our recent Maritime Province trip. My wife ordered pan seared scallops which came actually burned and way over cooked. When we talked to the server about this she simply said the chef was...More

The server was friendly and attentive, leaving us not wanting. We had mussels, which were small, not unusual for Canada, but tasty. The lobster was good. The ‘Digby’ scallops were bloody terrible. They were mushy like balls of mashed potatoes. When you pressed them, they...More

This place was recommended to us by our hotel and it lived up to expectations. Full value lobster dinner in a relaxed setting for around $30

Had lunch here today. My husband was pleased with his full fried clams, but the fries weren't very crisp. I had the lobster roll which only had small, cold, tasteless bits of lobster on a hot dog roll. Worst lobster roll I've ever had! Coconut...More

We were there twice and didn't see any dogs in the restaurant. There is no outside patio and the restaurant is located at the corner of a busy street so I wouldn't suggest leaving the dog outside.
