The Halifax harbour boardwalk is not the place to charge the prices this restaurant does. The atmosphere calls for more less formal settings and more relaxed food and dinning. It is a family area. There is no reason to have to pay $100 for lunch with the kids. The service was less than stellar and the wait staff was alloof.

Haddock was cooked perfectly. But the fish was served over a LOT of couscous which was a bit bland in taste. The burger was exceptionally well executed. A nice crispy but not too hard bun, outstanding flavour and really moist. One of the better burgers we have had in a long time. The fries were done well too. The atmosphere... More

Surprisingly good Italian food on the waterfront in Halifax. You can eat inside or out weather permitting. My spouse had pasta and I had an excellent risotto with beets. Wine list was straightforward. Give it a shot when in Halifax.

We were in Halifax the week of July 17. The boardwalk is a beautiful walkway that spans the harbour. While walking we stopped in at the Bicycle Thief for a bite to eat. With a view of the harbour it was the perfect spot. We got a table right along the boardwalk. The food was really good and the chowder... More

Beautifully located on the Halifax boardwalk, very trendy upscale as well as upbeat restaurant. professional and courteous staff, The outside patio offers perfect views of the harbor and all of the boardwalk activity. Excellent spot for a quick app and glass of wine or an opportunity to engage in fine dinging with friends

I love this restaurant. It is beautifully upscale without being pretentious. The service is excellent and the food is fabulous! I highly recommend the sangria as well as the lasagna or butterscotch cake. Delicious!

This is probably my favourite restaurant in Halifax. The food and service are always outstanding!! I have never had a bad meal. The atmosphere inside is busy and noisy (fun- but not ideal if you are seeking an intimate setting!) The deck is lovely and much more quiet, if you want to avoid the noise. Be prepared to splurge a... More

If you're in Halifax, put this one on your list. I don't hand out 5 star ratings easily, but this place is just really good. The staff was prompt and friendly, but not intrusive. All parts of the meal were well prepared. My wife thinks their lobster bisque is the best she's ever had. We don't often do desert, but... More

Warm, cheesy ravioli, sweet lobster chowder and the most tender calamari - what a treat for lunch! The warm atmosphere and fantastic food was so appreciated on a cool, rainy day. All dishes were so deliciously described, that it was hard to choose, but that just leaves more to try next time.
