A great option along the Halifax waterfront. Short walk from the Westin Nova Scotian. Pastas, steaks and seafood dominate the menu in this restaurant which claims to have an Italian soul! Pricey, but worth it!

I took a seafood dish in a tomato sauce and it was absolutly delicious!! We sat outside, it was windy but the server brought us a blanket. Service was good.

I had the salmon and it was very good. I would have come back a 2nd night but we chose to try something else instead. There are plenty of seats by the boardwalk with blankets in case you get chilly. It was a great spot for our first Halifax dinner :)

Every evening we walked past The Bicycle Thief during our stay in Halifax it was busy and buzzing with a queue at the door! So, having read wonderful reviews, we decided to reserve a table for our last night in the city. We were not disappointed! The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and we were given time to relax and... More

Location was great, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was vibrant. The owner stopped by to say hello and we were made to feel so very welcomed. Don't miss this place for dinner when in Halifax but book early...a little hard to get in at busy times and weekends.

Bicycle Thief Has great food and great service . If your looking for a quiet romantic dinner it's not that type of atmosphere .. Tables are close and its noisy and upbeat. Great if that's what your looking for. Beautiful spot

Loved sitting on the patio, watching everything. For the first course I had the Schiacciata grilled Tuscan flatbread topped with asparagus and garlic roasted tomatoes, fresh mozzarella. Very nice for a summer appetizer. For the main dish I had Fall off the bone roasted beef short ribs with mash potatoes and mushrooms and carrots. This was very delicious. The meat... More

On the waterfront board walk of Halifax Harbour. Very interesting varied menu. Quality food. There is lots to see and do in easy walking distance, Farmers Market, Pier 22 museum ( the history of immigration into Canada through Halifax), shops and venders, often entertainers. The harbour area is beautiful to stroll along.

The service was fantastic, and the food was even better. Each of us really enjoyed our appetizers, although the scallops were the best. Oysters were delicious. The Italian fish stew was a massive plate full of delicious seafood. The lamb was tender and tasty. The cocktails were also very yummy! Desert was fabulous as well. We rolled ourselves back to...
