Not a big fan of mall food but Thai express is great. Fresh authentic Asian food in flavourful bold sauces and fresh crisp veggies a must try for foodies in a hurry!

Was looking to grab a quick, healthy meal & the food was FANTASTIC. I was in Halifax on training with a friend who has a gluten free diet. Very hard to find places that will accommodate this but we found this place in the food court at the Halifax mall. Highly recommend this place! We even had enough leftovers for... More

When staying at th Hampton on business, I sometimes wander down the street to the Scotia Square Mall (ten minutes walk at most) and go to the Thai Express for chicken pad Thai. It is prepared while you wait and the results are delicious. Stopping at the NSLC before hand can provide some beer as a beverage - a perfect... More

I always liked the food there, healthy and fresh. It was my favorite place in Halifax Shopping Center. But last week the scene I saw made me worry about the food hygiene. When I ordered my Shrimp Pad Thai and waited in the line, I saw a stack of stainless steel bowls fall onto the floor. At this time, the staff... More

This my second time trying this venue for Thai food. The service at the lunch hour is slow. when we ordered we were given our springrolls. We then waited more than 20 minutes in line to get our pad Thai. You can guess that by this time the rolls were stone cold. The long wait was not worth it. The... More

Shocked to find such good quality and portions in a mall food court! As good a Tom Yum soup as I have had in Thailand (sans shrimp heads). Fresh, healthy, and good value for your buck.

Tried out the Thai Express last night and will go again. Had the Noodle Soup with Chicken - fantastic. The portion was enough for two people to have two bowls each. Was reasonably priced and very tasty. We also had the Pad Sew with Chicken - scrumptous. Also thought the saying on the take-out box was cute: "May contain traces... More

I recently tried the new Thai Express in The Halifax Shopping Center food court. It was busy but the line moved fast. I had the sweet/sour battered chicken. The serving size was good and it tasted good but next time i'll get them to cook longer as my peppers were not cooked enough for me. If you want Thai fast,give... More
