Right across from the Marriott Harbor Hotel. Easily walked to in just one minute. They feature a bar area combined with a restaurant In one room, but the mood is very tame and the bar does not overwhelm the table sitting area. I did not venture into the other areas but assume that they are typical restaurant type sitting areas.... More

Are there on a Friday night. The staff were friendly and superb. The Ford was very tasty. Only complaint is location. It's near the water, but it's in between two streets, and pretty much in the middle of the street, so it can be very loud when bikes go by. We were on the patio so we occasionally needed to... More

The evening started well, very pleasant waiter "Hadrian", very knowledgable and helpful. We ordered the lobster bisque, ribs with sides. We were told the lobster bisque was no longer available, so I switched to potato soup which was average, my wife opted for the fish cakes, they were cold. The main course of ribs and sides arrived, mine with a... More

A great place to come for good quality food. Service is always good, it has a great atmosphere, if you have a big noisy party there is space, if you are having a romantic meal there is the cosy areas where you cant hear the noisy party...

Ate at Baton Rouge on Hollis for lunch this week and it started off really bad. Was left at a table while no one offered drinks or came by to say hi for 20 minutes!! We were about to leaves when the server finally came over and apologized- seemed like lack of communication on the other servers end perhaps. Jason... More

Went here after a recommendation by a friend. Came here together with my parents and brother and we all ordered the sirloin steak with different side dishes and a salad for +4$. It was cooked really nicely and the waiter was friendly as well :) there wasn't really a special taste unlike a few other restaurants I've been to around... More

Thank you for your great review. I will agree with you in regards to our sweet potato fries. They are delectable. It always makes a manager happy when we see that a guest has enjoyed their meal. I did notice, however, that you didn't particularly love your steak. I am hoping you will join us again soon to try some... More

The food is fantastic - best yam fries I have ever tasted, The drinks are fairly expensive because they are not great. We went twice while in Halfia. The first waiter was amazing - he asked all the right questions so that we all got the perfect Caesar. We went again and the waitress we had was also very sweet... More

We stopped at this restaurant on a foggy Monday evening because all the other restaurants were overcrowded, requiring a long wait. To our surprise, the Baton Rouge took us directly to a tablea dn we found the service to be very efficient. This may be why guests do not have to wait. Anyway, food was excellent, tasty and well cooked.... More

We had half lobster and steak for $39 Canadian. Steak was $34 Canadian and Chicken Tenders $17 Canadian. Pretty average prices for Halifax. All good food and good choice of cocktails (I had 'The Elecric Gin and Tonic' and following dinner a 'Chocolate Martini'). Choice of local beers too. We would recommend and I would go back. We ate outside... More
