We had half lobster and steak for $39 Canadian. Steak was $34 Canadian and Chicken Tenders $17 Canadian. Pretty average prices for Halifax. All good food and good choice of cocktails (I had 'The Elecric Gin and Tonic' and following dinner a 'Chocolate Martini'). Choice of local beers too. We would recommend and I would go back. We ate outside... More

Went for an outing with our daughters and their husbands. My husband first ordered lobster poutine which you couldn't eat as it was so salty. I had beans as a side and the sauce was terrible, I believe they used the same sauce as the ribs as we ordered the ribs as our main. They were alright. I really don't... More

My staff went to Le Baton Rouge for an outing last month. I know it was awhile ago, but it was so delicious, I really needed to take the time to write a review. I have had the steak in the past (which never disappoints), but went for something lighter, as I wanted to try dessert. I shared the chicken... More

I took my two teenage daughters here for a birthday treat. The food was good, and it was really nice to be able to get out of the cold of a January day in Halifax.

My daughter and her husband took me to Baton Rouge for a steak dinner and knowing how fussy I am with my food never even took a bite of theirs until I tasted mine......wow!! It was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten and the Crème Brulee was divine!! I would drive quite a distance to dine there... More

We went here during our recent trip to the Atlantic Provinces with my husband and 11 year old daughter. Hubby had ribs and french fries, I had steak and my daughter ordered Mac and Cheese. All food was excellant. My only issue was that the Mac and cheese had lobster on top which my daughter was not fussy about. We... More

We arrived and were seated in a comfortable round table. Laura was an excellent waitress. We started with caesars spiced just right. liked the spiced beans. started with calamari, excellent. and had tasty coconut shrimp. The steak was cooked to our specifications, again, excellent. The lobster was cooked to perfection. It was a nice touch when the very tasty ,... More
