I really enjoy their curry dishes. They are definitely addictive. I would recommend them especially for their prices.

We went with our son to Gingergrass and I had the beef meal. I like Hot and spicy and boy did I get my wish. I was sweating, still managed to eat it all. The water glassed got emptied pretty quick. It was a good meal.

The picture says it all. Haven't been downtown Halifax in awhile so forgot about this place, but man, we were not disappointed! Their coconut soup was wicked, but the crab Rangoon was new to me and delish! We will be back!

The opening hours needs to be checked before arrival. It opens late in the morning until 2 in afternoon. Then closed from 2 to 3/4 pm. And opens and closed at 8. Food is average and service is good.

Hybrid or "fusion" Thai-cum-Vietnamese restaurants seem to have become a thing in recent years. Gingergrass is a perfect illustration of why this concept is a bad idea, and these restaurants are to be avoided. First, let me preface what I say by reporting that the people running Gingergrass and attending to its guests could not be nicer. If I could... More

The mango bubble tea is delicious and the best one I've had in Halifax. The Pho is also really good and fresh.

We were attending a concert & were unable to find any establishment near the Scotiabank Theatre to eat as all were extremely busy. We luckily happened upon Gingergrass Restaurant & had a fabulous meal. The Curried Chicken Combo meal came with a wonderful cucumber salad, jasmine rice & a choice of meat spring roll or crab rangoon. My daughter had... More

This restaurant offers fabulous Thai and Vietnamese dishes at very reasonable prices. The food is always fresh and the portions are generous. The pork noodle bowl and the pad Thai are very tasty. The northern curry with crispy egg noodles is also a great choice.

Food is excellent and well priced. Ignore the decor and get a seat near the window and people watch!
