We were traveling all day and it was our wedding anniversary. A quick shower at the hotel and off we went looking for a special meal. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem in the heart of Antigonish. They are known for their sea-food, which wasn't a disappointment. Stuffed salmon and Atlantic Seafood Vindaloo were our choices. It was... More

This couple enjoyed the bisque, chowder en croute, seafood ravioli (the best), and a seafood risotto. I thought about giving this restaurant a 5-star (excellent) rating, but my partner wasn't impressed with the risotto (didn't seem to be made with Arborio rice), and the timing was off. Several people attended out table, and I was never sure which one was... More

We had high expectations of this and it did fall a little short but maybe we just expected too much. Having said that the chocolate raspberry cake was by some margin the best dessert I had all holiday.

We were 5 people for lunch and everyone enjoyed a great meal. The restaurant was very clean with a good ambient atmosphere. The service was friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. The selecting of food and wine as well as other drinks was plenty. We really had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone.

We enjoyed lunch in this lovely bistro. The menu had a wonderful variety. The ingredients were fresh, flavourful, and expertly prepared! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Leave a little room for dessert if you can. They also sell some products in the front of the bistro.

Always loved this restaurant, nice atmosphere, service above average, food has always been good no issues. There was 4 of us, who dined here for lunch, when my US visitors inquired about paying in US cash, the waitress said it's at par, She actually laughed about it, saying something about the liquor store has an exchange rate, also the banks... This restaurant may be better for its wine than for its food, though the food was very good and there was some innovative development of tastes. I just felt the food was just a little short of being as amazing as it could have been. I almost suspect that the execution of dishes is not quite what the chef intended... More

Having stumbled into this restaurant last year almost by accident for lunch, we hunted it up this year when spending a night in Antigonish. It's first rate. It has a spacious, attractive interior with an Italianate theme; even the ceilings are worth a look, featuring a wooden design that suggests a wine barrel staves and hoops. They have a very... More

We have eaten here several times in the past but it has been a couple of years. We have never had a mediocre meal here. This time we went on a Friday evening in May without a reservation. During summer I would definitely have a reservation, though. We started with the Endive, Blue Cheese, Apple & Walnut Salad which was... More

Had a nice dinner tonight. The onion soup was a bit salty but the scallops were worth it. The main dish- pork and shrimp mixed fry was good. The service was attentive.
