we ate here twice during our stay in Annapolis and were happy with the service and food on both occasions. Sensible portion sizes meant we were able to try dessert for once and they were very nice too.

Nice casual restaurant, and food was terrific. Location was near the Queen Anne Inn. Friendly service and very reasonably priced.

We dined on the enclosed patio. My husband had his first lobster dinner of our tripand I had the salmon. They were both nicely prepared and our experience here included a very tasty chocolate cake. There were people dining both inside and out and it was an easy walk from our B&B. Locals were there, too; always a good sign.

Recommended by our b&b's host, we weren't disappointed. The place feels like an authentic old inn, comfy and quaint. The food however was worthy of fine surroundings. The smoked fish salad with smoked haddock and salmon and greens was elegant and satisfying. We both enjoyed the chefs Acadian jambalaya, chock full of smoky chicken, sausage and shrimp with white and... More

The restaurant was one of a number suggested by the Hillsdale Hse hotel, was nearby and i am glad we chose it to eat in. I overheard toe owner saying he was leaving shortly so I suggest you check out more recent reviews to see if there has been any change

We chose the Garrison House as it was only a couple of minutes walk down the road from Hillsdale House and we were very glad we did! We had the spinach salad with double smoked bacon (w/o bacon at first, but this was quickly rectified :-) ), followed by the Red Thai Curry with Shrimps and Scallops: heavenly!! I am... More

We were staying at the Garrison House, so we only needed to walk downstairs to enjoy the best restaurant in town. My wife had a Caesar salad and artichoke and mushroom risotto. I had grilled salmon. Both were expertly prepared. I highly recommend the Garrison House for dinner.

We have eaten here several times over the years and it continues to deliver excellent quality food! The haddock is generous in size and without a doubt, the best that I have ever eaten! Their desserts are also excellent...try to save room, if possible!,

Great staff, Great menu, incredible atmosphere in the screened room. The food was one point and top notch. Beers, mixed drinks and selection of wine was above par. You would be a fool to not enjoy this local establishment.

Thank Darren B
