Felt like an intruder, not a customer. Staff were not very friendly, and it felt like we were putting them out. Was disappointed in our purchases too - but not their fault - I think I was expecting a different taste. Maybe German food is not my thing.

The food here is absolutely amazing!! A little slow and can get busy but well worth it. They do bring some things into the market At Halifax waterfront. If there is anything specific that you would like , you can call the bakery in advanced and they will bring it with them for you.

We spent more than CAD 30 for a few things to take away and eat while strolling around beautiful Annapolis Royal. There were all pretty average, just like from any bakery shops. Nothing to shout about, and certainly not value for money.

We ate at this bakery/cafe twice while staying in Annapolis, and both times it was very good. The pastries were excellent. The goulash soup was too. It's a perfect place to eat lunch, or to get pastry for a snack (or breakfast).

Perfect spot to stop in for a German Pilsner and real Pretzel while overlooking Fort Anne. Friendly staff and quick service. Low key

We stopped for lunch. I wanted a jaegerschnitzel and spatzle but wasn't sure if I could eat it all. So my wife suggested sharing one. Staff very cooperative and brought us separate plates with porkchop-sized schnitzel. Delicious mushroom sauce and nice, gooey spatzle. We also shared an apple strudel for dessert. To finish, we bought $30 worth of baked goods... More

This bakery is the real deal. Everything homemade and super delicious. Gooseberry turnovers! But the best thing of all are the fresh macaroons. You won't leave without something decadent!

Family of 4, kids split a sandwich, no booze … $55!! Seafood.chowder = fake crab, canned clams + water broth. Waitress infuriated at my dislike of the disgusting chowder. She pitched a fit and added bogus surcharges to our bill. Wish we knew better. Waste of $$, waste of calories.

Just had the schnitzel sandwich, it was great, crispy, and hot. The shrimp sandwich was also a hit. Have it with the 7 grain bread. Potato salad on the side was tasty too. The pancakes were okay.
