My husband and I stayed at the Blomidon Inn in August 2016. It was truly an amazing weekend. The staff are an amazing team. No one seemed to have authority over any other staff. They work very well together. We chose the Romantic Getaway package for 2 nights in a Superior room (Wickwire). The room was lovely, plenty of room... More

We had a good meal (seared scallop risotto, followed by creme brûlée/fruit crepes) in "the library." The service was adequate but paled in comparison to our experience at the Luckett Winery at lunch. The decor at the Blomidon Inn really could use updating. The Victorian decor is dark and there's just a bit of a run-down feeling.

We had a family gathering and reserved a separate dining room for 17. With larger groups like ours they serve a 3 course set menu. 3 apps to choose from, 3 main courses which include fish, Chicken, or beef and several desserts to choose from. The selection was excellent and every course regardless of choice was great. With 17 people... More

Had lunch here as part of a wine tour stop. Delish food, friendly, quick service! I would highly recommend this stop on a tour of the valley!

Romantic, relaxing and uplifting. A touch of class on every point : service (Allan and the staff make you feel special), food (delicious and very well presented), decor (stately). Memorable evening. My wife and I shared the appetizer (steamed mussels in a lightly spiced coconut, ginger & garlic broth) and the dessert (chocolate brownie - see our pictures for more... More

We stayed at this inn in 1985 which was a great time so wanted to try it again. It was even better than our memories. Loved our rooms. The meal was superb, we had the captain's dinner and it did not disappoint. Wonderful, knowledgeable staff. Breakfast was also included in the room price and it was a wonderful cold continental... The Blomidon Inn hosts a off season dinner that is attractive to Winter visitors. They feature a different meal each week and pair wine to match the dinner.

We needed a place for lunch in the area and I found Blomidon Inn online. We arrived at about 1 p.m. and were seated quickly. The restaurant, like the Inn, retains its historic touch. My lobster roll was tasty - it let the lobster roll shine. My husband got the pasta and enjoyed it. The portions were nice and I... More

One of the best value for money fine dining spots in Nova Scotia. Wait staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about the offerings. The multi-course Captain's dinner is a great option. Wine list is better than many and the servers can generally provide proper wine service, which is always a bonus in rural Nova Scotia!
