We really enjoyed the entertainment last Thursday night, Dancing and a few drinks and some fish and chips, the music was great and the atmosphere was fun.

Great pub on George Street. Had a fantastic local band playing Celtic music. Will be back if we are ever in St Johns again

We are people who rarely eat fish and chips. This month, we ate then twice at O'Reilly's, first time was Easter Friday and again late April. Absolutely delicious. The salt and vinegar are gluten free and they are superb. Very light batter, crispy, nice flavour and 2 nice size pieces of fresh fish. They came on a square plate, on... More

Very much a great pub atmosphere, there was a solo artist playing guitar and singing traditional songs on the stage. Beer or tap tasted flat to me (Coors light), and my meal was average. All in all it was an average experience. Very friendly waitstaff!

After arriving in newfoundland a day prior, my husband and I were looking for some nightlife action with live music. And boy did we find it!!! We heard George street doesn't really liven up until about midnight, but we headed out at 11, and snagged some great seats at the bartop right in front of an amazing band. The bar... More

We were in town visiting family over Christmas. My two sons and I were here for a couple of beers, some finger foods and good music. It was a fun afternoon. Food, beer, service and entertainment were top notch. Will definitely return in the near future.

I had late lunch here, I think I caught a shift change as service was slow. The food was good, as was the beer. I ate on the patio which is nice. I know I would not like George Street at night maybe if I was 30 years younger? I doubt even then...

Fergus O'Byrne was scheduled to be on a 5PM, and I got there a bit early and discovered his son, Fergus Brown-O'Bryne, was there playing around a table with about 8 other musicians. They were just finishing up their jam, but played another number for me and let me videotape. I had deep fried scallops (delicious!) and a red local... More
