I visited the restaurant's new location on Elizabeth Avenue this week during my visit to St. John's. I had the Margarita pizza, which is a simple, delicious and staple in places like Naples, Italy, which I recently visited. The crust, sauce, basil leaves on top, tasted excellent and exactly like the pizza in Italy. Well done! Also I had a... More

This location along with all the other in Atlantic Canada did not disappoint. We got lucky at Friday for lunch and got the last table - what break. Had Pizza /salad combo for first time - salad was awesome and pizza - as usual what can you say best in CANADA !!

I stopped in here for a solo dinner and ended up having some friends stop in and join me. My initial order for a pizza took about 45 minutes. I was able to sit at the counter looking onto the chef's workstation and he made the pizzas with a lot of flair but I also saw him make a few... More

Piatto has the best pizza in the city. Great atmosphere and service. Love that you can see the cooks preparing the pizza. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I showed up here for a late lunch, it was our first time here and wasn't sure what to expect in regards to the food. Our server was very helpful, fast, friendly and informative. We both ordered lunch specials with salad, pizza, shared a starter, and had dessert. The food was amazing. Very tasty and well prepared.... More

Truly a delight. The pizzas are authentic wood oven made and Napoli approved. Can't wait for their new location to open up on Elizabeth Avenue in Summer 2016. Try the Arugala salad as it is delicious. Decent wine list and dessert list compliments their menu....if you still have room. Pizzas are delicious here and we would highly recommend for those... I was recently in St Johns for a Business Trip and decided to visit this Italian Restaurant. This restaurant was good for Pizza's, but it didn't have any other Italian dishes to choose from for main course. I would have expected a few other dishes as a minimum. The pizza was nice, but wasn't anything exceptional. The staff were fine,... More

The new Piatto in the old Canadian Tire store on Elizabeth Avenue in St. John's is awful. The food is poor and the service is terrible. We arrived at 6 and we were seated in 10 minutes. Oddly there was no order to how new arriving guests were greeted or queued for tables. We sat by and several passed along.... More

The first few years this restaurant opened, you knew exactly what you were getting. Fantastic pizza and the best Caesar salad in town. But unfortunately this past year it has been hit or miss. My last visit was certainly a miss. There were no green leaves in the Caesar salad....white and tasteless as snow. The pizza was a little ball... More
