went there and found the food good even though a little on the expensive side. Once again for some reasons places in downtown moncton feel they have to have music blasting for one to enjoy meals. However overall the service was good and even though a little overpriced well worth the visit

During a recent trip to Moncton we decided that we wanted to try a new restaurant. Generally we eat at the Old Triangle (two times a year), but felt it was time to see what else Moncton has to offer. Looking on Tripadvisor, I found a place called the Tide and Boar. Bonus, it was just around the block from... More

Was difficult to get anyone to seat us. Had to go up and ask for menus some time after and ages to get anyone to take drinks order. We were very disappointed in the servers lack of attention to us. They seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves, they were friendly enough at the infrequent interchanges, but really not good... More

This restaurant was rated highly on Trip Advisor,is one of the top 50 restaurants in Canada according to Maclean's and was featured on You Gotta Eat Here. We went at 7:30 on a Monday and had to wait for 30 minutes. Then once seated we waited another half hour before having our order taken. The food though, was extraordinary! Huge... More

I can't say that I've eaten in every restaurant in Moncton, but they'll have to go a long way to beat the Tide and Bore Gastropub. The outdoor patio is great. it has a wonderful selection of beers and ales and the food was excellent. The service was a bit slow, but we were with the family, so actually enjoyed... More

The food was just so-so. But the service was TERRIBLE! The restaurant was very very busy, and there were not enough servers. We waited an hour for dinner, only to be given excuses. My advise...so somewhere else when in Moncton.

We went to Tide and Boar on Saturday night around 5 pm. It was busy, but did not take long for us to get a seat. Our server was not the greatest. She never came by our table to check on us, and took a very long time to bring us our receipt. We ordered the parmesan crusted haddock and... More

The place is open late (12am), even though the kitchen was closed. We got beers, and the bartender even found some chips for us!! Nice service, had a great evening.
