We've been to the Wolastoq Wharf a handful of times and have always enjoyed our meals. Last weekend we returned for a lovely, birthday dinner. Since we live in Maine we haven't crossed the border in over 2 1/2 years! It was so nice to...go back. We love the location too, within walking distance of our relative's home. We always make reservations. Our dinner started with the warm bannock bread, butter and molasses, which is delicious enough for dessert. Entrees of Maple Glazed Salmon, BBQ Chicken Thighs, and Jambalaya were very tasty. Savored the Carrot Cake and complimentary/birthday Oreo Cheesecake. Also, the portions are huge.More

We discovered this sweet little spot on our way through to Moncton. The service was excellent along with the delicious seafood. I had the seafood fettuccine and my husband had seafood chowder and bacon wrapped scallops. Everything was prepared perfectly! My request to omit the...mussels from the pasta was honoured and it was still loaded with scallops(both bay and sea) lobster and two sizes of shrimp. It was served in a delicious cream sauce. My husband’s chowder was so thick and full of seafood it could almost could have been eaten with a fork. Unfortunately we were too full to have dessert. We would highly recommend this eatery.More

This was the second time my wife and I ate at this restaurant. Both times absolutely loved it. Maple curry mussels …..wicked.

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Wolastoq last night and were pleased that the food and service were back to their expected high standards after our disappointing experience on the patio last year. The restaurant was very busy. Our server, Abby, was pleasant and...efficient. Although the dine around Fredericton menu was available, we opted for the regular menu. The service was quick and the delicious bannock was enjoyed by all. My wife had the seafood linguini, I had the seafood risotto, and our grandson had the lobster roll. All were excellent and the portions very generous, especially the lobster roll. We shared a green salad and carrot cake. It was nice to see they offered premium wines, like Beringer, by the glass which was a nice touch. Highly recommended.More

Visited for Valentine’s Day, we have been here many times before and they never disappoint. Service was second to none, thank you Heather. Food was excellent as always, asked to give our compliments to the chef so he paid us a visit. Very talented young...man. From start to finish a great Place for Valentines dinner (the ladies got roses). Highly recommend 🌹More

For a small city of 60,000, Fredericton seems to have an abundance of decent places to eat. Based on my limited experience, The Wharf is top of the list. A very controlled menu, lots of seafood, focused on dishes they do well. Our party of...six all tried something different and we all sampled each dish. Each was very well done. Perfect seasoning, individual flavours were clear and well balanced. Strongly recommendMore

Great meal overall. We all ordered something different and enjoyed our meals. The service was exceptional and the ambiance was very nice. Our server, Paige, noticed my grandmother was cool and brought over a heater. Her attention to detail was greatly appreciated and her attentive...and friendly demeanour made for an enjoyable experience! Thanks Paige!More

My wife and I live nearby this restaurant and do not go often enough after last night. The service was impeccable and Meredith was absolutely fabulous and considerate. The meal was also outstanding, best caesar I have ever had and the Tuscan seafood linguine had...more shrimp that I could take in. Excellent meal and excellent service. This should be among one of best places to eat in Canada. Kudos to Meredith and the chef.More

I use to love going here. I though it was the best place. We came back this week, only to find it was not as good as it use to be. The service was very slow, the food was not as good. It was adequate,...but not great. The Ceasar salad use to be the best I had ever had….not this time, not even close! Took forever to get our food! Short staffed for sure! Took a long time for our bill too, only had one working debit machine. For an expensive restaurant, service should also be great! The staff was friendly though. The waitress was very nice.More

We were very excited to try the Dine around menu. Bruschetta should be served on small crostini vs the soft sub style bread and the fettuccine while tasty needed more wine & garlic, less cream. I had the seafood risotto which was even creamier, it...desperately needed more broth & less dairy. We will go back & try other menu items because the service was outstanding!More

Buy one, get second one half price. Had a great meal on Sunday evening. Called in the order and picked up the fish was crispy outside, melt in your mouth inside. Great service, easy ordering, takeout containers are recyclable, not styrofoam!

I have been here twice and loved it both times. My wife and I went for my birthday. I had the Surf and turf special. The seafood was fresh and the steak was perfect. Every thing was presented top notch. I especially enjoyed the bannok...and molasas to start of the meal.More
