This lovely restaurant is in the clubhouse of Kingswood golf club. The menu selection is different for lunch or dinner and the food is great with reasonable prices. Great view overlooking the golf course.

I visited with my wife as we sampled more of the local fare. The restaurant overlooks a golf course and is a nice place to be in the evening. I had the fish cakes and my wife had the flatbread with steak and mushrooms. Both were flavorful and had resonable.portions. Like much of the food in town, it was probably... More

We ate here just before departing for St John on our way out of town. Fantastic food at great price! Strips were homemade and tasted great! Wings were a little on the salty side but overall great tasting. Husband had burger and he said it was great as well. All and all a must try if in the Fredricton area.... More

I have eaten here several times over the last few years, and I must say the food never disappoints. However, I always have the same thing .. the salmon salad .. because I love it. Anything else my dinner companions have seems to also be very good. Good service, beautiful views of the golf course, great food .. all in... More

Four of us played golf and the outdoor food shack was close at 4;30 ,comment was no staff ! I expected more from a first class establishment. Hopefully this was a onetime situation.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed our meals. Located at Kingswood Golf Club, Snead's offers a varied menu with a good mix of appies, lunch and dinner entrees. We have found that the service is good, portions are good and prices are good. They are well known for good ribs and some nice pasta... More

Went to Sam Snead`s most recently for a group gathering for a friend's birthday. The flood was delicious, enjoyed the salmon. It also ended up being an all-inclusive $20.16 for 2; fabulous price, as they were promoting the New Year in the month of January to get locals in, I suppose! Definitely great value!

I reserved this restaurant for my Graduation, having never been before. It was a wonderful restaurant with a great environment. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and appetizers and we all agreed the quesadilla appetizer was the best we'd ever had. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially for a supper menu.I highly recommend this restaurant!

Haddock, rice, asparagus- very flavourless. Buttermilk chicken- over done, dry, beans were dry. Fish cake - as good as it looked; another disappointment. Coconut cream pie with crust over done. Been here numerous times before and it was great. Not sure if the B team was on tonight but it is a shame that we will not return over this... More

They just started the noon specials so we had the salmon salad- delicious and the cob salad- also delicious. They make a great bloody caesar. Great views of this beautiful golf course. Yummy sweet potato fries are a nice appetizer to share.

Description
Welcome to Sam Snead's Oak Grill and Tavern at the Kingswood Lodge. We are open year around and you don't have to be a golf member to visit us and we are only minutes from downtown. We are pleased to anounce our new menu featuring some Mexican additions. Come in and roam from room to room, savoring the rich wood decor and all the memorabilia collected by Sam Snead himself as he made his way into golf history. Then choose from a wide selection of foods grilled only with locally-cured oak, that creates the most unique flavour around. Start with appetizers, then make your selection from the certified Angus aged beef, the freshest seafood, chops, ribs or chicken. Complement all of this with a fine wine or your favourite liqueur cocktail. And for the lighter appetite there's a wide salad and sandwich selection to be enjoyed at Sam Snead's Tavern. Be sure to top your meal with one of Sam's homemade desserts. We currently are the only Sam Snead Restaurant in Canada and the only wood fired grill in Atlantic Canada.
