After spending four hours at the National Museum for Human Rights this was the perfect place for a late lunch. Enjoyed the view of the museum and the bridge from our window as we sipped our wine and savoured our lunch. A salmon criossant and borscht soup, quite tasty home made soup for my husband and quiche florentine and salad... More

Great French cuisine and a fine ambiance. This place never disappoints. Well appointed menu and reasonably priced. Recommend it anytime

This breakfast is probably one of the best kept secrets in the city. Eight bucks for 2 eggs (Vita, by the way,) real potatoes chopped & flat-topped to golden loveliness; thick multi-grain toast with choice of jam or marmalade, & a country sausage (beef & pork) that has more flavour than any so-called "breakfast sausage". The constantly refilled excellent mug... More

Local Winnipegers told us of Promenade and they were right!! We took a short walk on the footbridge over the river just behind the Human Rights Museum. The restaurant is easily visible just across the bridge. Friendly service. We had their specials (quiche and root vegetable soup). Great wellness tea. Totally satisfied!!

We have eaten here several times in the past 4 years and have noted the exceptional service whether we are there for after-dinner desserts, drinks and the great view from their patio or for their prix-fix menu (great food/wine for the price). Highly recommend.

My wife and I visited this restaurant on our first day in Winnipeg and really enjoyed our breakfast where I had omelette florentin and my wife had crepes mixed berries which we both enjoyed. I'm not sure if I will get used to having jam to go with my toast on the same plate as my main breakfast.

I have been driving past Promenade Café and Wine for years and always wondered how it was. We were down that way today and my wife suggested we try it out for dinner. She had been there several years back with my sister for lunch and was impressed, so we made reservations for later that evening. We were welcomed very... More

The first thing you notice about this restaurant is the abundance of windows and natural light. Our waiter the evening we went was very good. We ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon and the Saumon ( Salmon) 1/2 order. Both were very good. They do have a small patio. There is a small parking lot but lots of street parking in the... More

Reviews convinced us to stop in for a great meal--we were not disappointed! Although parking can be a challenge, (the lot is small) the meals and service far made up for this slight inconvenience. Our meals and desert exceeded our expectations. If your from out of town, make this one of your must stops!
