A large group of ended up at this pub while on a conference. The decor is typical of this kind pub, the selection of draught beers, standard. The problem was they were out of a lot of the beers. The food got mixed reviews from our group. The curry dishes like the butter chicken and vindaloo were very spicy which... More

I came here with some friends the other night to do a Paint Night that they were hosting and was surprised at how much I enjoyed my meal! I was expecting typical pub food, but ended up getting the Butternut Squash Ravioli and it was so good! The caesar salad it came with was fantastic too, and the drinks were... More

The King's Head is a wonderful Winnipeg pub located in the Exchange District. The atmosphere, staff, location, and heritage building all lead to a simple, happy experience. Add a great selection of curries and other food, along with over 30 draft beer choices, and you have found paradise. Also home to live entertainment and many other special events. In the summer... We popped in to the pub for a quality burger & fries. We were impressed with the fast, friendly, and accurate service. We chose a small table on the patio. It was a nice evening spot with sufficient lighting for drinks & dining. Great experience. Huge Thanks 😃 We were able to make the comedy show, at a nearby venue,... More

Found this place by just walking around. Very nice place to stop for a beer and a bit to eat. Extensive selection of beer, lots of TV sets to watch sports and the food is great!!

We were in Winnipeg and had read about this pub and the reviews were mostly good, so we decided to give it a try. Both the food menu and the beer menu have so many offerings that there has to be something for everyone. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and the food portions were very large. Neither of... More

Grab a seat by the window or a patio table and you will not be disappointed. Service is good the menu is varied and the people watching opportunities are amazing. We have been here many times and our favourite menu items are the butternut squash ravioli in a curry cream sauce (and I am NOT a vegetarian) the Scotch eggs,... More

I have been going to the Kings Head since the early 90's, so of course I went by on a return visit to Winnipeg. To my horror the server said they don't serve Guinness anymore but some crappy knock off. Being that this is a pub, not having Guinness is ridiculous. Other then that the beer menu was decent and... We haven't been there for a long time, as we live out of town; we came in for an evening drink, and decided to sit out on the patio. The street had some traffic mid-week, but that's expected for the location. "Fort Garry" brand dark beer on tap (I would highly recommend if you like dark beer) and the butter... More

I was stunned by this place. I usually avoid 'English' and 'Irish' pubs abroad like the Plague, but went here as our nephew from Winnipeg recommended it....and I admit it's great! Good range of beers, reasonably priced if you drink local brews (well done to the barman who warned in advance Strongbow cost $13), two dart boards, a pool table,... More
