I thought this pub would be all about beer - but they have amazing Indian food!! The Butter Chicken Poutine should be something you order!! It is really tasty. Negatives: super duper loud (as in, you have to scream to be heard by people sitting right across from you ) and the wait staff messed up orders and didn't seem... More

a happy place to sit back and have a drink after a long day. Or just to have a bite to eat(the fries are amazing).

We ate outdoors on the patio since it was such a beautiful day. The food was absolutely delicious, the price reasonable, and the service top notch. I would highly recommend based on the food. The only downside was it was a smoking patio which we didn't notice at first. Very disappointing as most tables had smokers sitting at them. Without... More

We were at the Yellow Dog eating great Perogies when we asked the waitress her choice of the next pub stop. She suggested the King's Head. It did not disappoint. MacKenzie from Strathroy On took great care of us. The bar had great atmosphere, the staff were fantastic and we will have great memories of the friendliness of Winnipegers.

I love anything British and wanted to come see this place, plus they had good reviews. Well, it's definitely a pub, and a British one because of the flags and banners, etc. (not sure what I was expecting). But the server and bartender - Main Day - was super friendly and helpful. I was trying to decide on a hard... More

Sat out on the make shift patio and had some beer, burgers and steak sandwiches. The food was great pub grub, no one had any problems, the staff and service were great, no complaints. I'd visit again and suggest it to others. Tip: sit on the patio to listen the music or events that are at the cube in old... More

we wanted a place to have a drink and chat before dinner and found the King's Head. Dart boards, pool table, small tables, smell of beer - perfect. A great selection of beer and our server was great at being able to help us with our selections. I can see hanging out here.

I have to first admit that I live one block from the King's Head, so this is my go-to pub, but right from my first visit, as a person new to Winnipeg, I have felt welcome and valued as a customer. The food is great, the service superb, and the cast of characters (bartenders and servers) are not to be... More

We were there a week ago. The place is one of our faves, and I can't believe I have not reviewed it before. Starting point - it is a pub, with a British theme. I worked out that we first ate there in 1989 (oops - ageing myself). Its compelling features back then were that it was one of the... More
