I go here often! Most recently last week, but I would say about once every two weeks this whole year. I take people here. I love this place! The pastry, meals and coffee are all excellent and the staff are relaxed and friendly. It is always busy! Even if you come in for just a meal, no one can bear... More

While I love stopping in to take away the beautiful and delicious baked goods and pastries, we don't go anymore to sit in for breakfast or lunch. The table service is a little slow even when not busy and usually forgetful. The place is looking beat up and in need of some cleaning up. Too bad, we used to really... More

customers are not rushed to finish which is very relaxing. Meals and desserts are homemade. Has an almost old world feel to it. Service could improve as it can be slow. Order coffee and enjoy

I love this place for a cup of tea or coffee, some cake or just a snack. Girls working here are absolutely friend, efficient and helpful. The atmosphere is great, friendly and it can be surrounded by great paintings.

This little cafe has great prices for their food! They offer baked pastries and breads, have servers who provide you with a menu but also a drop in pick up area for baked goods and coffees. They serve alcoholic beverages... the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. I didn't like some of the decor (having multiple different chairs didn't give it... More

Stooped in on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We both had the breakfast sandwich. A very tasty cheese scone played host to an egg, tomato and ham. Served with very nice home made hash brown. Sevice was friendly.

We've been going to the French Way since it was on Academy. It's our special breakfast place. Love the Eggs Benedict.

It has been a few years since I last reviewed The Frenchway...so much improved in so many ways. Others have recognized it as well...most mornings and lunch periods, it is a busy place. I enjoy the variety of sweet treats and the coffee is usually refilled and it is good.

Although the food has been quite good, the portions are very small and served without much garnish or interest. And the service is superficial.

For my money they have the best cinnamon buns in the south end of Winnipeg. A few months ago they changed how they prepare their croissants and they are now excellent. Good seating and excellent service. Lots of parking.
