I stayed in the Churchill Motel during a Natural Habitat polar bear tour. The room was large with two big beds. There were extra bed clothes in the cupboard if you needed them. I didn't The bathroom had a bath and a shower. There was a coffee machine in the room but I used the tea/coffee cold drink facility in... More

Breakfast buffet included scrambled eggs, meats (turkey sausage- extra yummy) and pancakes (with real maple syrup), plus oatmeal plus flax chai or hemp seeds-interesting, fresh fruit and lots of pastries (maybe from Gypsies or at least as good). Coffee is really good and there is juice.

Don't try to serve a tour group a "dinner" without a kitchen. No choice of entree, dessert from a local bakery because of a birthday in our group. Bear season is only six weeks, wait to do construction.

Our tour group took over the place while in town during polar bear season. Beds and bath were fine. There was a fridge, coffee maker and hairdryer in our room. WiFi reception in our room was more miss than hit but if you sat in the lobby....We ate their buffet style breakfasts and had plenty to choose from.

Owned by the same people as the Bear Country Inn--see review--this is a great improvement over that one. Rooms are fine, restaurant seems to be for continental breakfast only at the moment. The Tundra Inn is only a block away, and Gypsy's Bakery is down the street, so you're covered for food.

The motel staff were pleasant and helpful. The room comfortable and bathroom good. The staff greeted us when we arrived back each day. The restaurant food was excellent. Plenty of choice for breakfast and the evening meal very enjoyable.

It is plain, but adequate as a base to see the bears. The internet and hot water worked, so what more do you want? If so, you won't get it. Lighting in the room was too dim to read, breakfast had fresh baked goods that were great one day and inedible the next. But it was reasonably quiet at night,... More

We had a nice stay. Our expectations were low as this is in the middle of no where, with limited season for bear watching. It exceeded our low expectations. In particular the food in the restaurant was great. As was the wait staff.

Although the accommodation is relatively basic, as we expected, food and service were excellent. Be sure to arrive on time for breakfast as it seemed that when it's gone, it's gone.

only had one meal here. Found the food very good big portions. In fact all the restaurants seemed to give big portions. Ambient surroundings. Staff friendly and prompt with the meal.
