I thought this little place had the best food in town & it certainly did not hurt that they had a big bakery display .They were very friendly.I had the sense that probably you were supposed to go up to the counter to order, but not knowing, our group of 6 sat down & a young lady cheerfully waited on us (possibly... Bought a great loaf of bread, a couple days later they baked a pie just for me and packaged it so it could make it to my home. The pie was delicious

It's a hyperbolic titile, but it captures how much we enjoyed Gypsy's. We are there every day we were in Churchill. Service was always friendly, food was fast and delicious, and the baked goods were out of this world. It could be that my wife and I were on a high from seeing polar bears, but I don't believe I've... More

They have the best baked goods in town, really good. If you want desserts, go there. Other food types were perfectly competent, and we ate there several times, but not the best in town. The pizza was only mediocre. They are open until 10 PM while most everywhere else seems to close at 9 PM.

I like baked goods and especially liked the selection at Gypsy's. We also had lunch there and enjoyed the food and good coffee.

I spent 6 days in Churchill and ate many meals at Gypsy's. Their breakfast, lunch and dinners menues had great variety, and everthing that I ate was fanatastic. The baked goods are nothing short of amazing - loved them all! The family who runs the restaurant and friendly and have great senses of humour.

Helen is from Portugal and runs this place. She is friendly and talented. All the baking is fresh. The Portuguese Pork sandwich is fantastic!! The inside looks a bit like a cafeteria but I got over it as the sandwich was so good. I did, however, find her staff Freddy someone I would avoid if I went back.

Be sure to stop by Gypsy's while visiting Churchill. Locals hang out here a lot for good reason! The food is terrific and reasonably priced for a place so remote. But the best reason one stops in at Gypsy's is for their homemade donuts!!! We ate more than one per day...LOL I couldn't stop myself. Try one...it'll happen to you... More

I went here because it was close to my hotel - do not make the same mistake... everything in Churchill is walkable so go elsewhere. The food was terrible, the owner was SO rude and treated my family very poorly. The food was less than mediocre and I would go as far as to say the worst I had while... More
