We know things are expensive in Churchill, Manitoba, since everything had to be flown in this far north and no roads. This diner, bakery and cafe rolled into one dis a pretty good job in servicing lunch while we were transiting to Winnipeg form points north. Portions were large and hot entrees are featured daily. Pork strips with fries was... More

We were intrigued by the Portuguese flag flying outside. Went inside to discover a wonderful family run business with Portuguese roots. We expressed our love for Pasteis de Nata and came back the next day to fresh baked tarts for our train ride home. Great food, great people, great find in Churchill!

We had a classic diner poutine as well as coke and coffee and locally grown rhubarb pie at this gem of a spot. This place has a clean and comforting atmosphere and really friendly staff. You get the sense that locals and tourists both like this place, and find it welcoming and inclusive. Order at the counter and then you'll... More

Overall, good food selection - for sandwiches and main entrees with prices as expected for Churchill.

I thought this little place had the best food in town & it certainly did not hurt that they had a big bakery display .They were very friendly.I had the sense that probably you were supposed to go up to the counter to order, but not knowing, our group of 6 sat down & a young lady cheerfully waited on us (possibly... Bought a great loaf of bread, a couple days later they baked a pie just for me and packaged it so it could make it to my home. The pie was delicious

It's a hyperbolic titile, but it captures how much we enjoyed Gypsy's. We are there every day we were in Churchill. Service was always friendly, food was fast and delicious, and the baked goods were out of this world. It could be that my wife and I were on a high from seeing polar bears, but I don't believe I've... More

They have the best baked goods in town, really good. If you want desserts, go there. Other food types were perfectly competent, and we ate there several times, but not the best in town. The pizza was only mediocre. They are open until 10 PM while most everywhere else seems to close at 9 PM.

I like baked goods and especially liked the selection at Gypsy's. We also had lunch there and enjoyed the food and good coffee.
