Went for dinner with my Mum, for her first ever sushi experience and it was really good. You couldnt pre-book but can have a drink whilst waiting for a table The saki frozen cocktails were immense and the variety of the menu slightly intimidating but you couldnt go to far wrong whatever you ordered And food you couldnt manage was... HORRIBLE! Don't go. The food took forever, they never checked in on us, the plates were dirty, and the service was rude! NEVER GO HERE!

We have been to sushi village plenty of times, the sushi is good and the saki margaritas are uniquely delicious. They are a busy restaurant but unfortunately they don't handle it with grace..the hostess the other night was somewhat of a drill Sargent, if ALL people in your party are not there by the time of your reservation you better... This restaurant is located on the second floor of the Sundial Hotel. For those walking around Whistler Village, one can easily miss the restaurant if one doesn't know the location. Look up! :) Food is authentic and tasty. The complimentary tea is especially good. The restaurant provides take-out in addition to dine-in services.

Very much enjoyed our late meal here. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:15pm. Were seated promptly and waitress was efficient. Didn't have sushi. We ordered off the main menu. All food was delicious, fresh and good serving size. Would highly recommend visiting this restaurant and when we return to whistler it will be visited again by us!

This place is fantastic! Get the Hawaiian roll, it's described as a flavor explosion & it truly is! Also, the saki margaritas are refreshing & have enough kick to satisfy this Texan! Great service as well.

The first thing I usually do on entering a Japanese restaurant is speak to the staff in Japanese. If they look at me blankly, I will generally lower my expectations of the food. I'm not fluent but as a guide this has worked quite well in the past, as a lot of staff in Japanese restaurants are in fact Chinese.... More

This is a great casual place with very fresh food. We went there twice and tested an bunch of different items which were all good and fresh but the rice recipe of the sushi is one on its own and a visit to the Sushi Village just to test it is worth it!

This is a very popular resturant so be prepared to book or get there early (6ish) and wait for a table. The wait will be worthwhile as we all had a fab meal, we order a mix of sushi for starters and hot main meals, however everything comes out when ready, so in our case we had mains before the... Although in Whistler, this is a very good Japanese/Sushi restaurant. We repeated several times on our recent trip. Restaurant is always very busy, but service is always great. Sushi is excellent, but the appetizers are just as good. Some of the best Ahi Poke I've had and tuna almost melts in your mouth. Really like the Agedashi Tofu as well.... More
