People that live in Vancouver are spoilt by the incredible selection of good and great sushi restaurants in the city. If you want to eat sushi in Whistler then Sushi Village is a pretty good choice. By Whistler standards it is pretty reasonable and they at least have Japanese sushi chefs so you can see the individual grains of rice... More

Scored a tatami room due to a no show. Great variety of traditional Japanese dishes served by wonderfully friendly staff. Expect a 30 min wait for a table - that is reflection of how busy (& good) they are! Prices are very reasonable

Interesting sushi place? The star of the menu is clearly not the sushi but pitchers of frozen sake margaritas. (I believe they were strawberry flavored based on the color?). This is a party sushi place - nothing wrong with that - however, if you are looking for "great sushi" - this is not the place. Sushi was average. I guess... More

Been going here for years, and just a great sushi bar / restaurant after a day on the slopes. Try to order in the "Special Rolls" section and also try their sake margaritas by the pitcher.

The best spot for sushi in Whistler hands down! Awesome atmosphere, delicious sushi and sake margaritas! Yes sake margaritas!! There are lots on menu items for the picky sushi eater and the staff is very helpful when choosing what to order. Great for group dinners. It can be busy so go early and have the best time!!

First time was a not so great experience. But to be fair they were very busy. Second time was a charm. Very good sushi. Friendly staff, clean, and reasonably priced for Whistler.

The sushi here is excellent!! Super fresh and delicious. There is a reason it is always busy! There are many items for non-sushi fans too!

LOVED the food here. Arrived at opening time and were lucky to be seated in a traditional room at the back of the restaurant. We ordered as promptly as our server could manage, and added a tempura dish to our order after our first items arrived. Our server happily took this additional order with no hesitation, caveats, anything. This item... More

We went for lunch and loved it so much that we went back for diner the next day! The quality of the ingrediants and the freshness of the food was great. I particularly loved the Hawain Tuna sashimi.

Usually try and have lunch or dinner at this place once during the week. Food servings are plenty and tastes pretty good. They close at 2:30 for the lunch serving so sometimes we miss it or feel like we have to rush
