Not in the Village so not well known other than by locals and frequent travelers to Whistler. The name is deceiving, as this if fine dining and the menu offers a lot of fish and game. We make an effort to go here during every visit to Whistler for its menu, ambiance, and service.

Took my Mom there for her birthday. We had fish and my husband had steak. The meal was one of the best ever. Service was top notch! The restaurant is warm and friendly. We highly recommend.

We really wanted to go to Rim Rock because of all the great reviews. We were lucky to get a reservations and excited for the meal. We found the restaurant itself nice. The service was very attentive and helpful. The meals were definitely good - but I was hoping for fantastic. For the price - I was hoping for more.

This was my third time, each time ordering the fish trio. This time I was very disappointed on a number of fronts. The hostess was rude on the phone and upon arriving and clearly was not happy that we had a newborn with us (even though she was silent throughout our meal). My salmon had not one or two but... Surprisingly excellent meal. Mussels were superbly cooked. Both fish and duck main courses were terrific and this was an excellent value for the quality of the food. Definitely now on our must go list in whistler.

We saved this meal for our last night in Whistler and were not disappointed. The restaurant is a short walk from Nita Lake Lodge. It has a nice ambiance and great, knowledgable service. We had a reservation for 7pm. A complimentary bread basket was served (I would have preferred it warm... But that is a minor miss). We elected to... More

Loved our food here. Best halibut prep ever. On special was a mushroom crusted halibut on mushroom risotto. It was fantastic. My husband had the fish trio of salmon, ahi and prawns--fantastic as well.

This restaurant combines a deceptively modest exterior with a charming rustic interior, first-class service and knocked out food. Everything we ordered was exceptional. It's a special trick to offer this level of food and service in a way that isn't pretentious. Rim Rock Cafe nails it. If you're lucky enough to have the chance to dine here, do it. You... More

Description
In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.
