About
Named for the curvature on the side of a ski or snowboard, Sidecut offers a modern take on traditional mountain cuisine. Situated in the celebrated alpine location of Whistler, the restaurant's sleek wood interior offers an inviting setting where diners can cozy up to the open fireplace or dine on our sun soaked patio. Enjoy dishes such as the Steakhouse "Sushi" Roll, Bourbon Birch Braised Belly of Pork, or prime-aged steakhouse cuts, cooked to perfection and inimitably paired with house-made rubs and signature sauces. Featuring a locally-sourced menu that evolves seasonally, the restaurant's farm- and ocean-to-table influence pays homage to British Columbia's diverse fare. To complement any

The restaurant and bar are all in one. Very large open area. Definitely not an intimate feeling, but pleasant. We enjoyed excellent food, great service, and loved the appetizer tiered tray and cocktails.

Wait staff were very pleasant and friendly but food was terrible. We ordered the pizza and I could have made a better one at home. For a such a nice hotel, I would have expected a much nicer restaurant.

Sidecut is a great place for a special dinner. Arguably the best restaurant for turf in Whistler. Go early and enjoy a cocktail in the lounge with live music. If you need to impress a date this is it.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Sidecut. Let's first focus on the food! The appetizers were very very good, but the main meal was outstanding! I had the beef tenderloin (filet mignon) that just melted in my mouth. My husband had the...More

After a pretty walk from Upper Village, under snowflakes and alighted trees, we had our special dinner at this snug and classy restaurant. Seated by the fireplace, we first picked a cocktail from their glossy brochure, from a range of international selections. We second enjoyed...More

My wife, daughter, son-in-law, and I had the bone-in ribeye and salmon family style. The waiter told us it would take an hour and ten minutes for the steak when we ordered and that was perfect for us as we were in no hurry because...More

I wanted to really love it. The atmosphere was great and the service was friendly and helpful. However, the food was very average and the wines were overpriced. The salads were underdressed. Our steaks were cooked decently, but the meats didn't have as much beef...More

The gentleman who served me had been there for a long time. I think close to 10 years. He was caucasian with short hair and relatively young. I cannot remember his name. He was outstanding and gave great wine suggestions with my steak. I spent...More

I'm not sure about high chairs and booster seats but I imagine they do it's the four seasons. They seem to have everything under control. Kids are certainly welcome. Enjoy your visit. Cheers
