A simple restaurant where you order at the cash register and pay, then they bring you your order when it's ready. Everything is homemade and tastes like Baba made it. Superb! We had the borshch, homemade bread and perogies.

Jackie and Duane own and operate the best little restaurant in Vernon. Friendly people, great food, lots of selection. All the perogies, pies, cabbage rolls, and bread is made in house. Don't forget that their breakfasts are delicious too!

Excellent for breakfast and lunch. Not sure if they are open for supper. They catered an event I attended and did a top notch job. Ukrainian food items such as perogies, sausage, borscht are great. Only wish I would have is that they would go back to home made thick sliced bread as I used to enjoy over the past... More

Perogies and cabbage rolls for lunch. Do tasty. Service was good, and food was hot when brought to table. The ladies were very friendly and personable.

Jackie's breakfast are just as good as her perogies...actually if you combine the best perogies ever with the best breakfast ever...what do you get? DJ's Perogie Kitchen.. Their sausages are delicious and I just love the cottage cheese perogies, although there are so many more to choose from. Today was also pie day...check out this delicious coconut cream pie made... On my way home I decided to give the perogy place a try. I ordered the special which according to the menu board included a variety of perogies, cabbage rolls and Ukrainian sausage. I waited a long time which at lunch time is not good as most people have to go back to work after. When it finally arrived I... More

Based on experiences at other similar restaurants in BC, we ordered 2 dozen perogies, 1/2 dozen cabbage rolls and a litre of borscht to feed 5 people. Portions were tiny, which was disappointing. The cabbage rolls were smaller than my thumb! The perogies were smaller than many store brand frozen ones. The whole order came with ONE slice of bread... More

Very odd parking, but we made it work. We ordered #2 combo plate which came with 8 perogies, 3 cabbage rolls, and less sausage than expected. We had 4 different flavours of perogies, and all were excellent. The frozen take out is excellent as well. All excellent. Excellent. Cool!

We always get our frozen take home perogies here. They are better than homemade. Always pick up lots as the whole family are perogy lovers.
