Travelling solo and made to feel welcome. Fantastic food and plenty of information about the provenance of both the food and the wine. Friendly team. Reasonable price by Australian standards. Ate there 2 nights this week. Wish I could take the place home.

We recently tried OLO for the first time, and had a bit mixed review of it. The staff is friendly and attentive. We didn't fancy some of the tasting menu items, so opted to order off the regular menu instead. We shared corn bread (warm...More

They changed their name so we decided to see what changed and we still found a tasty but pricey restaurant for couples. Hubby ordered a rum and coke and was charged $17 plus $2 for the coke. It said a double (we noticed later) even...More

Cute little restaurant with a cool modern feel, and then you try the food! Family style is the name of the game at this restaurant. Where they just keep bringing food till your full.

A special night out.We had to check out OLO after reading the Tripadvisor reviews. We were lucky to be able to squeeze in without a reservation after a wait of 30 minutes on a Saturday night. Appetizers of smoked salmon and semolina cubes with garlic...More

With folky tunes in the background and quaint yet hip feel to the place, the craft spirits and local wines mixed with mostly local sourced foods fits the bill here at OLO. The food obviously has a lot of care and thought out into it...More

My new favourite restaurant in Victoria! Love that the menu changes and locally sourced. The food was excellent, easily able to accommodate our food allergy. Great staff, really welcoming and friendly, checking in throughout the meal without being intrusive. Loved the wine guidance, helping us...More

We had their five course sampler, which includes a starter, salad and appetizer, a main and a dessert. Each course made us say 'this was too good, it'll be disappointing from here' and then it just got better. None of them was very large, but...More

Hi I have other questions for group :P Do you take tour group reservation as well? What is your seating capacity? We may have tour group of 30 to 50 people. Do you have group menu? May I see it online? If I have a tour group of 30 to 50 people, how much may be per person. Thank you

It's a small restaurant and takes reservations up to 10 people. It's best if you check out their website for more info.
Hi, we are wondering if you take reservations for large groups? We are a dragon boat team looking for a place to eat on Saturday night. Thanks!

Relationships are forged over food at OLO - whether its friends and family enjoying a boat-to-table brunch or Executive Chef & Owner Brad Holmes finding farm-fresh ingredients from hard-working neighbours. Delicious food, laughter and good conversation are always on the menu. 'Olo' means 'hungry' in Chinook Jargon, a derivative language of English, French, Chinese and Chinook, and just like the Pacific Northwest was once a gathering place for traders, OLO is where the community comes together when hungry for more than just a meal. Serving up fresh local produce, Chef Brad is part of the Slow Food Chefs Alliance and switches up the sustainable menus depending on what's coming through the kitchen doors every day. Each dish celebrates life in B.C., using only the best ingredients available and working with amazing farmers, fishermen and foragers to provide an experience that captures the essence of Vancouver Island. Handcrafted seasonal cocktails showcase the best of Vancouver Island products and the bar program highlights the region's bounties with an impressive selection of B.C. distilleries, breweries and rare Canadian whiskeys. The thoughtfully curated wine list focuses on small-batch producers that showcase the Okanagan and Vancouver Island's best wineries, alongside premium international selections.
