We were looking for a casual dinner out, in the James Bay area, and chanced on this place. If it had been warmer we'd have sat outside on the patio, but it wasn't so we went in. Nifty period decor in the remodelled old house....More

Delicious! First visit as I was staying in the area, and I noticed that they did breakfast. The Tofino Benny, with smoked salmon, on an english muffin was perfect. It was quiet there (Saturday morning, Easter weekend) and everything was chill.

We love this place. Good food and beer, and friendly staff. In the warm months the front patio is open, and in the winter the old radiators are cozy. We've brought family here from age 5 to 80.

We liked this place so much we ate there twice! We had really good meals both times. Off the beaten path, but near town. We are planning on stopping in again when we visit Victoria this July.

We had mixed feelings about our visit here. The waitress who served us was great - friendly, helpful and good with everyone there. The food was descent everyday kind of cooking and I tend to like a little bit more farm to table creative menus...More

My son and I went in and we were both hangry and ordered burgers and beers. The burgers were outstanding and hit the spot. I would like to go back at night and see what the place is like when it's hopping. We were there...More
