Skip the pretentious Empress High Tea at a high price and enjoy a wonderful tea experience in this local tea room! The food was wonderful, especially the baked goods and about everything is lovingly made on site. We had the Great Muckle Tea for Two (you need to read about it on their site). The owner's daughter served us and... More

I had to talk my husband into the tea experience but he ended up saying it was one of the highlights of our trip to Victoria. We had the Big Muckle and everything was fresh and delicious. We could not quite finish, but everything was wrapped up beautifully and stayed fresh until we got home to Seattle. We had a... More

This delightful tea room is a welcome alternative and better value compared to the more expensive Empress. We had the Big Muckle Tea which was delicious and more than enough food for the two of us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a nice selection of teas to drink. Located West of downtown Victoria; we got there... More

3 women and a 5-year-old for lunch. We ordered the Not-so-wee tea for 3 people as we thought the Big Muckle would have been too much food for us. We had been here before; so we knew that we wouldn't be able to eat it all. As it turned out, we still had to doggy-bag the leftovers since 2 of... More

My husband, sister-in-law, and I surprised our moms with a late Mother's Day tea. All of us had the Big Muckle and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful - especially with my food allergies. They made our day a truly special outing for all of us. It felt good to be able to eat the food... More

I have been here a couple of times now for tea and it's always amazing. I like that you have a few different options for how much you want depending on how hungry you are. The scones, short bread and fresh baking are top notch and delicious. Service is also great and love the homey cute atmosphere.

A couple of weeks ago, I took two friends to the White Heather Tea Room for High Tea. We had their Big Muckle Giant Tea and it was wonderful. I have been to the Empress hotel for High Tea but enjoyed the White Heather so much more. The cost was half the price and the goodies were excellent and just... More

We decided to try this after reading the reviews. It was amazing with great service and a delicious tea. We tried the big murkle and lots of great tastes. We could not finish it and took the rest to go. I'm glad we didn't go to the overpriced Empress and tried here instead. You need a car as its not... More

My husband & I spent a delightful afternoon enjoying high tea at the White Heather. Our knowledgeable server, Carrie, gave us lots of information about tea customs. Clearly tea is her passion. The sandwiches and pastries were delicious. We ordered the "Big Muckle" and couldn't finish it all, even though we had skipped lunch & it was close to dinner... More
