My favourite place would be Crust bakery which is two or three places down on the same side of the road, but this is my second favourite place in the city. The baked goods are very nice and the chocolates too. I found it a bit pricey for some things, but others were a good deal. There is also a... More

We visited the cafe at 12 noon about a week before Christmas. As expected the room was packed but the hostess found us two seats at the counter. The Reuben sandwich I ordered was excellent with a hearty serving of tender hot corned-beef, cheese and sauerkraut along with some tangy potato salad, and the vanilla slices were deliciously crisp, sweet... This is out go to place for that special dessert, especially the moca cakes, which give us several tasty desserts over several evenings. The staff members are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this establishment to everyone!

Get some pastries, try breakfast, but avoid lunch. Small portions of mediocre food with house "salad" that looked like someone took the lettuce and tomatoes off a sandwich and laid them on a plate.

We loved the Dutch Crockets entre. These are a Dutch feature item and super delicious with either regular or hot mustard and their feature meatball soup. Huge photographs of their family who immigrated to Canada in 1955 are on the walls, which puts a very personal touch to the family operated restaurant, and is similar to my own family story.

We go about once per week for the breakfast special served before 10. The service is quick and friendly and the eggs, bacon, and potatoes are consistently very good. We substitute fruit for the toast to make it healthy for us. The bakery also produces the best local chocolates at a fair price.

Judging from the long line up to enter this was going to be an amazing spot...and we weren't disappointed. It is a Dutch bakery with full showcases of delectable fresh made dainties/ baking and the other side has full showcases of hand made chocolates. Then in the back is a small quaint little restaurant. We had the lunch special, which... More

If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place for you. We stop in every time we are in Victoria to buy our personal favorite the 'flying saucer', an almond cookie, but there is a great selection of tarts and cakes to enjoy.

We came back on the weekend before Halloween to pick up some tasty treats. Yes, I had to get that tasty Mocha cake, which was decorated for the season of trick & treating!
