It was a great little spot for lunch. Sandwiches and Paninis were very good, deserts were amazing, all the options looked so good, it was hard to decide. We were a group of 8 ranging age 6 to 70 and everyone loved their choices. Coffee was good too. However, not necessarily cheaper than going to "real restaurant". My panini, latter... More

Relaxed atmosphere, tasty treats, good coffee, friendly service, reasonable prices. In a quite street just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of Robson St.

Great coffee and bakery selections, and filled with customers who look happy. We left our dirty clothes with attendant at laundromat on 47th and Fraser (free parking in the back)and walked here for a delicious meal.

Rich and flavorful tortes for dinner dessert did not disappoint. Deep torte full of filling, great flavour and nice crust. Saw the chocolate eclairs and had to try. Absolute decadence with real whip cream, thick crunchy chocolate covering and melt in your mout chou pastry. Will be back to try the panini sandwiches. Yum!

This place is great! Don't let the long queue discourage you, they're quick, very friendly and they have such a good selection of bread, cakes and sandwiches. I may have had the best lemon and poppy seed muffin ever. Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed.

I really enjoyed the lunch special. It was very fresh & tasty, and priced affordably. There is not much seating for such a busy place so we felt a little bit rushed to dine & dash... We also picked up a brioche for home but it never made it home! Too delicious!

First time in Canada . Wanted to get something sweet for our drive back home to Seattle. I loved the cookies and donuts. We spent about $35 worth of goodies and maybe one or two made it home. Can't wait to go back for more

Staying in Little India / Punjabi Market

Neighborhood Profile
Little India / Punjabi Market
Little India has changed in recent years. While some view it as a declining neighbourhood due to emigration and competition, it is still the original site of the Punjabi Market, and an epicentre for Indo-Canadian culture. The many textile outlets along these blocks boast endless swaths of colourful sari fabric, while the local markets and food stalls waft the savory scent of sugar and spice. Indian fast-pop breaks the quiet of the neighbourhood, as it drifts out from the windows of shops and homes, and glitzy storefronts offer bangles, jewels, and silk at reasonable prices. Join the bargain hunt and step into a world apart in Little India, which becomes especially upbeat during the summer, when celebrations and festivities take hold of its streets.
