Had a great visit with my son during week day Happy Hour. First time for both of us. We thought the staff were amazing. Great set up with seating upstairs so you can look down and see others and food prep. The lady working the front door was super fabulous... all smiles and very helpful. Reservations are recommend. Menu is... More

We have been coming here for more than a decade when we are in Vancouver and it never gets old. A cramped, noisy oyster bar in Yaletown that is often full (make a reservation or be prepared to wait) always provides a welcome respite from the city. The staff are always witty, fun and seem to take delight in making... More

This was recommended to us by a cab driver, so we managed to get a table on a Wednesday night. Had to wait about 45 minutes, so we walked over to a nearby park and relaxed. Once we were seated, our server, Alex, was quick to come over for drink orders. On his recommendation, we had oysters from both the... More

We had a great time at this restaurant! The vibe is energetic and fun. Great music playing that really appealed to our group (70's and 80's s music), that found us singing the lyrics at times. The await staff was attentive, engaging and energetic. We loved our particular waiter...so much fun! The food was really enjoyed by everyone in the... More

This place was recommended to us by locals. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is very cozy and chill. The waiters were very pleasant. He told us about the 9 types Of oysters this place provides, and helped recommend what he thinks we would like. The taste was amazing. If you don't feel like ordering the oysters I would recommend... Came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch with my girlfriend and was blown away. Excellent service (the staff seem to have so much fun working there), great background music, and the fresh seafood was amazing. All in the heart of Yaletown. I ordered a dozen oysters and my server offered to mix-and-match since I was hesitant what to order... More

Came just to try the oysters. I saw a lot of reviews about happy hour, wasn't interested in that. Had a dozen fresh low tide oysters and they were great. Perfect size and taste. They have about 6 different sauces for the oysters and they are the best I've had. The yellow banana pepper sauce was my favorite. You gotta... More

Went to this Resteraunt twice for dinner, in our 4 day visit to Vancouver. It is such a fun place to go, always jam packed, so make sure you book ahead . I think the best place for a table is upstairs near the railing so that you can watch them shuck the oysters! All the staff are good looking... More

Went recently with a group of friends. I like the Toronto location and thought will give a try to the Vancouver Rodney's. Started with some bloody caesars.. the standard large shrimp was good, but the rest was bland and the glass was one-third filed with crushed ice. At $11.25 you expect more. Later ordered a bottle of wine.. $17 at... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
