They completely ruined my birthday! Service was completely awful, they ignored us, treated us like complete idiots; whenever asking questions about the menu. Horrible service. Once we asked for our bill they completely disregarded our petition and continued to bring our food. We asked again...More

On our recent visit to Vancouver Rodney's Oyster House was recommended to us by several locals that we asked, so the choice seemed simple. We visited for happy hour, which was a special treat. Located in Gastown, it's a fun destination to begin with. the...More

We dined as a group of 6 on January 31st at roughly 3:45PM. I am including this since our server really needs a shout out but we do not have his name. Not sure of our initial server (but he did a GREAT job). Rodney's...More

Mid-Saturday afternoon. Extremely limited menu. Staff seemed to expect patrons to (i) know exactly what they wanted, and (ii) hear them through the din. Sadly, the waiter couldn't have been less interested in us (three post-50 adults) as we were not the usual crowd. At...More

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Rodney’s. All The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We started off with a Caesar. It was delicious with the perfect amount of spice, fresh horseradish and a big fresh shrimp. Kevin was our server and...More

Good food especially happy hour oysters. I have been too many places for happy hour oysters in Vancouver but this place is the best. Some places are limited your oysters order and give you small or cheap oysters for happy hour but Rodney’s, they will...More

Can’t get enough oysters. Happy hour prices were excellent for oysters (other food, too) and actual pints of beer. Another small space that was crowded, and it seems that small, crowded spaces are the norm on Water St and Gastown.

We celebrated my partners last day of work here, and it was perfect! Casual elegant atmosphere with fun staff and great service. The oysters were fresh and tasty and the coconut shrimp, breaded oysters were delicious too. Love the wine slurping thing. I’ve also been...More

Ahoy, we do apologize for what seems to be indifferent and casual service. We will address our service standards moving forward. Due to the weather , high tides, and Holidays we were unfortunately left short of some of our favourite items. Any shellfish ( oysters,...More

The Hamilton Street location is a hopping, busy place. Reservations recommended. It is a small place and the tables are small. If you love oysters, clams, mussels, shrimp, this is the place to go. Try the ocean salad...yummy for 2 people. My favorite is the...More
