Over the years we've visited Vancouver and tried several different ramen spots but keep coming back to Kintaro. I love how unpretentious it is. The waitresses were very accommodating trying to fit us into this tiny spot. The choices of broth (rich, medium, light) and pork fattiness (lean or fat) allowed us to tailor our dishes just so. Love the... More

Fresh ramen noodles, yummy broth, and fun atmosphere! Learning how to slurp noodles, I even used the chopsticks! Small restaurant. Sitting at the counter is fun!

This a a tiny hole in the wall ramen restaurant surrounded by new and fancy ramen restaurants but there is almost always a line up out side here and it's because the ramen is absolutely delicious! It opens at 11:30am and if you're there before noon you most likely won't have to wait but if you do it's totally worth... More

Delicious broth and chewy noodles! Don't let the interior of the restaurant fool you. This small unassuming restaurant packs a punch with flavor.

I love this little monster of a Ramon place. This is my favorite place to eat in Vancouver. There is always a little wait, because it is a small place and very popular. Don't worry, it is so worth the wait. You will love every drop cooked to protection.

If you like ramen, this is definitely the place for you. They do it up right! And it's always busy, so you know that's a good sign. They give you a very good-sized portion of ramen as well.

If your first image of ramen, is the "Maruchan Instant ramen", then do yourself a favor and become a better human being by coming to this place. A true ramen connoisseur should pay attention to: - Ramen (the noodle) texture, elasticity, "crunchiness" - Soup stock: Rich (thick), medium, light - Quality of ingredients - Specialty of the house - Drinks... We made an order in person at the restaurant. Fast, very attentive with us while we were waiting and a good organization in our order to take it away. I gave them 5 stars for the attention, organization and the ramen. I am not Japanese, so I can not judge the ramen if it is good or not there. For... More

Don't be scared by the long line up as the wait is totally with it! This tiny hole in the wall ramen joint offers amazing tasty authentic ramen complete with hand made noodles! Sit at the bar to watch the show as the cooks whip up each order right in front of you. Highly recommended!
