Each time I try a new dish. The lamb kofta was the best so far complimented really well with the hummous and salad. All their dishes are just as tasty as they are healthy.

Nuba is a very popular Lebanese restaurant with four convenient locations. I love Nuba's fresh vegan red lentil soup, their vegan stew and their Le Petit Feast with hummus, tabouli, babaganoush and homemade pickled cabbage. The food is very tasty with several vegan friendly options. The service is courteous and friendly. When I mentioned to my server that the potatoes... More

Wonderful Mediterranean food in a small and funky location. Everything here is made fresh on site and nothing disappoints. The deep fried cauliflower is one of our favorites.

we went with another couple before the movies at vancity theater for doxa. we had the chicken platter and the lamb platter with the excellent cauliflower mezze plate. the chicken and the lamb were overly smothered in tahini which took away from the flavors of the dish. service is counter service and then they bring to your table. for some... The Café Nuba provides an excellent selection of entrees. The food is priced fairly and tastes great.

One time, my wife and I had the lamb koft; we enjoyed it, but everything was too dry. Another time, I came in and waited for a good seven minutes while a Japanese server actively ignored me. I am never again coming back to this place.

Best service and delicious food with very reasonable pricing. In summer you might not want to sit inside since it is small and gets very warm.

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
