This tiny restaurant has a legendary history. One of the first pubs ever built in Gas Town originally built to service the near by Mill a long time ago. The original owner was granted 6 Acres to set up a hospitality area and pubs to service the workers and tourists that came to the area. The modern day pub maintains... More

Extensive beers A GOOD salted classic Margarita ( and a fab find... there's been a few nasties prev to here. ) Kudos SIX ACRES you do it well. Thanks oodles. Kx🍸⭐️🌟✨💫

Our server here was attentive and very pleasant. Very good scotch selection and a craft beer list that is off the beaten path, but had some excellent Canadian micro brews. My wife's apple crumble was excellent, as was my buddy's cheese cake. Very intimate setting, great place for couples to have a very pleasant evening.

Had the Poutine, was 👌. Place seemed a bit touristy, being next to the Gassy Jack statue, I guess that makes sense.

We stopped by one afternoon in a weekend trip to Vancouver. Lovey little place! We had Pimms cups which were fantastic and on happy hour. Plus the popcorn and cheddar corn fritters! Those corn fritters were to die for! I wish I could have them everyday. It was a great cocktail place!!!!

Good beer, laid back quiet pub feel. The mac and cheese was tasty but ever so tiny - $11 for a mini-dish of pasta left me hungry.

Like its neighbours, Six acres capitalises on its location and steals the hearts of many with its knook like interior and charm. I have only personally been here for its happy hour and selection of beer, so I can't critique everything but would definitely recommend it to anyone. I find a lot of restaurants in the area pretentious and don't... More

A compact and active gastropub with better than average food, great drinks and a street view right next to the Gassy Jack statue. Poutine is top notch.

Staying in Gastown

Neighborhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
