Great sushi and sashimi, at bargain prices! They have a good variety on the menu and we were amazed by the portion sizes for rolls and sashimi....compared to Sydney, Australia its steal!

The sashimi is always fresh and delicious. Make sure you ask for the sockeye salmon sashimi. The rolls are creative with many different options to chose from. Best sushi in the area, easily top 5 in the city.

Sometimes we can't have both great sushi and great service. And that's sad. If you want probably the biggest pieces of sashimi you've ever had for a decent price then this is your place! The rolls are good, not great and the service is adequate at best. We didn't get exactly what we ordered (which is more expected in an... More

Good fish and well prepared sushi for a very reasonable price. Will definitely go again there sometimes.

Worth the travel. The sushi melt in your mouth and as soon as you open the door you are infused in fresh sushi smell. Been going there for years now and even if I moved in the surrounding of Vancouver I made sure I stop by to pick up my fav sushi every time. Give it a try; you're love... More

I had Tempura Veggies, Beef and California Roll Sushi. The dinner was excellent and the service was awesome. It was the best sushi I have had in nearly 20 years. Memorable and delicious. I will return.

Stayed one night in a nearby hotel before going to the downtown core. Advert in the lobby for this sushi place. Area seems to be in renewal. Front desk staff said it was good. And they were not joking! Portions are amazing and the prices were excellent. Uni was fresh and so good. Spicy Tuna rolls were different than what... More

I go here often with friends and family, wonderful tuna and salmon sashimi, terrific ebi ,sunomono, agadashi tofu and chicken katsu. Even the miso soup is memorably good! Their bento boxes used to leave something to be desired but they are getting better ! The gomai is NOT great ! Wait staff are usually very efficient , sometimes a language... More

Staying in South Main

Neighborhood Profile
South Main
South Main, or SoMa, is a neighbourhood in upswing. Inhabited by young humanitarian professionals in converted lofts and studio apartments, what was once an industrial centre is now a wellspring of vintage and eco fashion shops, contemporary sawdust-floor galleries, craft beer joints, and basement acting studios. All set to an Art Deco background with a strong blue collar sensibility underpinning each new pop-up and foodie trend, SoMa is on the rise.
