Nice little relaxed Italian cafe / eatery in Gastown. Great food, nice place for weekend coffee stop, breakfast, or lunch. Simple food that tastes amazing. Can’t wait to come back, this has been added to my places to go in Vancouver list.
We were in Gastown having just enjoying a ride from Lonsdale Quay on the Sea Bus. We decided to enjoy an early dinner and our brief walk brought us to the Brioche Urban Eatery. Dinner comprised of the seafood with salad and the veal parmigiana....More
We came on a weeknight for dinner and disappointed there were no other customers. Casual eatery. The green bean and asparagus salad was excellent. The spaghetti carbonara and mushroom tomato sauce over rigatoni were good. Large sized portions and we could not finished. Friendly service....More
We went there with friends. 2 of us had Cioppino which was excellent. Our wife's had gnocchi and the said it was good. Go there with a big appetite as the portions are huge. The wine menu is lacking and could use a better quality...More
My wife had Pizza and Soup and I had the Smoked Salmon Croissant with eggs. We came with friends and they enjoyed the food as well. Service is at the counter but we got ours delivered to us as we were at the back end...More
The Eggs benny were absolutely delicious and I got to choose the term of the eggs since I don’t like runny yolks. The amount is perfect for the price.
It’s well located and has a nice and cozy atmosphere.
Thanks to our friends who live in the area, we discovered this gem on a day trip to Vancouver. Tiny place, smallish menu, no-nonsense gourmet food at surprisingly low prices. MUST try the Cioppino - best described as bouillabaisse with Italian flavor. All vegetables done...More
This is an excellent place for breakfast. The menu is short but everything tastes delicious. The bread and pastries are really very good. Service was very fast. We had breakfast here twice in a 3 day stay in Vancouver. I would happily eat here again.
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of
Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
