Really disappointing...three of four meals were served. About ten minutes later the fourth meal was delivered to the table inclusive of ingredients not described when asked what the meal included. After sending back due to food allergy to the ingredient not disclosed the second plate arrived over salted undercooked. Basically not edible. When we had to send it back not... More

It costs 17 dollars to go up to the top ... Or free for restaurant goers! Easy choice! Food looks a little pricey but when you deduct your ticket price of 17 dollars it's really worth it, peaceful, wonderful views and good service from staff too.

You wouldn't come here to eat your favorite pasta; you came here to enjoy the view. And the view: it is spectacular! The food is all right, yet expensive, something which is understandable 500 feet over the ground. Best time to book a table is about one hour before dusk so you could sit and enjoy both day and night... More

The food was poor to fair- I had lab and it was so fatty there were only 3 edible bites. The potatoes and veggies were stone cold. My husband had cold steak and veggies... View was amazing, service pleasant

The title says it all. We were there for sunset so managed to see the city both in the sunshine and in the dark. Spectacular views.

We went to the Revolving Restaurant for tea and desserts on a Monday afternoon. It was very quiet, only us and 3 or 4 other tables, but service was very poor. Our order arrived in dribs and drabs, we had to ask for milk for the tea and for teaspoons; certainly well below the standard of service you would expect... More

We were after lunch only for tea coffe and hot chocolate. We were sitting by the window. The waiter was the most polite. He was smiling all the time, he took us pictures.

It takes about an hour to revolve, it is truly amazing but you need a clear evening and go around dusk, that is the best time to see daylight then the evening lights

We were hoping to skip Vancouver lookout and have drinks here to save some money and enjoy the views as this is even higher than Vancouver Lookout. Guess what? We were told if you want to only have drinks, you can't sit by the window even though the restaurant was empty. To be eligible to sit by the window, you... More

Like so many of these revolving restaurants I always book with my own proviso that it's the views that I'm going for first and the food second. All dishes were nicely presented. My Lobster Avocado Tower salad, very tasty and flavoursome - seemed to be fresh and a good sized portion. My sister had the Chicken Tuscana main dish was... More

Staying in Gastown

Neighborhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
