Great three course dinner for $29.95. Excellent service and quality - just one block off W Georgia Street and not far from Stanley Park. Well worth a visit for a good meal - pianist on site and really a good atmosphere.

We stayed in Vancouver for 2 weeks and visited Ciao Bella several times. We were welcomed warmly and enjoyed really good food. We loved the atmosphere of the place, which was enhanced by the lovely piano playing of Doug Volz. We enjoyed an early celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary at Ciao Bella, early because we wanted to visit when... More

I love Italian food and Monday and Tuesday are 50% off of pasta nights. The location is great, just off of Robson and not far from the harbour. We arrived at about 6:30 pm and had about a half hour wait for a table. It took forever for anyone to take our order considering we were right by the bar... More

We ate here before going to the theatre and chose the ' Salmon set menu' which was very tasty. Service is friendly and quick - don't expect to linger over the meal! Reasonable price and pleasant ambience.

We had lunch after watching Pride Parade. We ordered Penne Pasto, Penne Alfredo and Penne Abrusio. All were very good. What makes it more special is the owner's personal service, a Pakistan descent gentleman and his young son. Eventhough they were quite busy at the time of our visit, still he managed to spend little time with us but nonetheless... More

We ate dinner here as a party of 10. The service was very good. The food was tasty. The prices were reasonable. As we were leaving a large party of about 30 people took over the place. The place is nice and small (quaint). They had a piano player which was nice.

We went on a Monday night. Their pasta was half price. I had a salmon and pasta and my husband had a sausage pasta. We also shared a salad and a bottle of wine. The food was excellent and very well-prepared. The service was great the overall experience was wonderful!

Great Spaghetti Bolognese, we went back twice for it. But the kicker is the Italian music. As a fan of anyone from Zucherro to Bocelli, the music made the meal. We even asked to sit a while after and just listen to the music. My wife enjoyed her Vongole or whatever it was also. Highly recommended as compared to the... More

What I like most about this place is how relaxing and QUIET it is - carpets, soft furnishings, a gentle piano in the background so, wonder of wonders, you can actually have a conversation without shouting! Service is excellent, price reasonable, food was fine but of course how much choice there is depends on how much you like pasta. There... More

Runny watery pasta. That's all that needs to be said. Service was mediocre. This is why the restaurant offers DEALS on their pasta.

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
