Stopped here today for an early lunch and sat outside which happens to be a brilliant place to observe the steam clock operating on the quarter hour and to 'people watch'. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was very tasty. We had...More

Superb food, amazing service. We ordered a pork belly sandwich, a pasta Bolognese, and a kale salad. Every single item had been prepared to perfection. There is absolutely nothing negative that I can write about this place. Highly recommend the place. Make sure to order...More

We ate here twice - on both occasions the food was amazing. The freshly made focaccia bread is to die for. The specials are well thought out and very creative and there is a great choice!

It has been a few years since we had last ate here but it did not disappoint. I believe that it serves the most tastiest seafood chowder you may ever find. The serving is small but worth the experience. Kale salad with prawns was a...More

We sat outdoors on the patio, rather tight fit but fun place to eat nonetheless. Our service was good enough, the food was very tasty. I recommend starting out with the warmed Mediterranean olives-oh so good! The rigatoni and sausage was great along with their...More

We were lucky to get a table opposite the Steam Clock and enjoyed people watching as we ate lunch. Our waiter, Francis, was very personable and attentive. Our food and wine came quickly and was delicious and good value for a touristy location.

Water Street Cafe is rather like a French bistro with cloth napkins, upscale decor, and personalized service. The diverse menu, including a longtime favourite of crabcakes in both large and smallish sizes, makes it possible to eat lightly or generously at any time of day....More

This restaurant was recommended by friends and the concierge at the hotel. Dinner started out wonderfully. When the main courses came, they were extremely spicy for some of our party. When we mentioned this to the waiter, his demeanor changed. He told us that we...More

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of
