Nice atmosphere, although some tables (for 6 people & more) looked a little small & cramped. Service was efficient & our waiter was courteous, nothing special though. Food was overall mediocre, Gnocchi was nice, duck main dish was OK, the Ossobuco (daily special, not on...More

First off, Lupo has excellent Italian food! Further to that, the atmosphere is interesting and enjoyable. It's in a large house in the downtown area and so it rather feels homelike and inviting. As a result, it doesn't feel pretentious or stuffy either. For me,...More

I'm not sure what to say about Lupo. The service was excellent throughout the meal. The antipasti choices of octopus and meatballs/polenta were uniformly very good. The two Primi pasta dishes we tried were mixed. The special with truffles was outstanding, the one with mushrooms...More

Such a cute setting. An old house in downtown Vancouver. We were sat in what must have been the living room near the fireplace. The staff was very friendly and the service was exceptional. We shared the meatballs, fois gras pate, beet salad and focaccia....More

We've been to Lupo a few times and we love it so we decided to make a reservation for our anniversary. I booked at least 1 month in advance and requested our favourite seat upstairs by the window. They said they couldnt promise but they...More

Dining in a 20th century home does have it's charm.. but the food just fell short in several ways. 1) Lupo's buratta was a 3/10. The bitter purple cabbage completely throws off the dish. The quality of burrata was also terrible. Note to the chef-...More

We didn't find it noisy, but it is is renovated house with rather small dining rooms, so if there was a large exuberant party dining at the same time, it would be noisy.
