This place offers a wide range of desserts and coffees. I prefer items that are not too sweet so went with their coconut cream pie, which was flavourful, light with the right amount of sweetness. Their regular coffee was good too! They were busy and seemed understaffed, but our server was very good.

A great place to have dessert, cheesecake, trifles, chocolate cake etc. They have a great variety of drinks. Their coffee is good. I highly recommend going there for dessert,, you will not be disappointed. Their dessert is heavy, share it with someone else.

Simply delicious! The cakes and drinks are really good, enough to have you craving them all week. There mouth watering collection of cakes and pastries will want you coming back for more! Great way to spend some time with a group of friends or catch up on some work as they do have good seating and wifi for those workaholics... More

Each time I treat myself to a piece of cake or pie at True Confections I wonder why I don't come more often. I know...the selection is just too good and too tasty. You can choose from the menu or make your selection by staring at the rows of beautifully frosted cakes in the cooler. The service is prompt and... More

We dropped in for desert after having dinner at a restaurant down the street where the portion size had left us still hungry. We felt like a chocolate fix and had to decide between at least 6 or so options before we finally chose the Classic Chocolate Cake. One piece of cake was $8.75 but was certainly large enough to... We went for a Valentine treat last Sunday, on Denman Street, where we have been a few times in the past 13 years. We ordered a Mocha, and a Coconut cake priced at $ 7:85 each. I never failed to notice that the portions through the years were getting smaller, but this time the Coconut cake was 3cm thick on... More

Huge slice of okay chocolate cake, but nothing special. Very sweet, very fat, very much, but no way worth the $9... their coffee is acceptable, but not really good.

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
