Came here with a friend to celebrate her birthday. It's the best place for desserts in Vancouver. There's a good selection of pies, cakes, teas and coffee. We had the chocolate raspberry mousse cake and we polished it off in no time. The photo you see is actually one piece split in half. I bake a lot and love a... More

Some good cake, decent coffee and a great location - ideal after a day in Stanley Park or wandering Coal Harbour. A little overpriced and the decor is slightly dated, but all in all, a very good spot to relax and refuel.

Overpriced, old, no taste, dry cake. Don't waste your money or time stopping by this dessert restaurant. We had the devils food cake and the diplomat cake. Very disappointed!

This place is at the end of my block, too close. The selections are amazing and so are the prices. Amazingly high, surpassed only by the calories. For an occasional treat this is the place, good luck.

We all had different kinds of cakes and they were all really good. The hot chocolate was good too. It wasn't just milk with dash of chocolate. We'll be back :)

True Confections was recommended to us what a choice of desserts it is so difficult to choose it would be ideal if they were able to offer a smaller portion of about 4 cakes. bliss!

We looked for a good dessert place. Searched trip advisors and this place was highly rated. Very good desserts: coconut cream cake, excellent. Classic chocolate cream cake: very rich and icing a bit too sweet. Carrot cake, pass on this. Not the best one. Highly recommend this place!

If you have a sweet tooth... This is the place for you!! Best cheesecake ever here! Pretty much anything on the menu will hit the spot.

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
