My husband and I were staying at the Days Inn which was located upstairs from this restaurant. We decided to grab breakfast at The Chelsea before starting our day. I don't remember exactly what I ordered, but it consisted of toast, hash browns, two eggs, and choice of two meats (bacon, sausage, or ham). I chose bacon only, my husband... More

This is a somewhat depressing basement restaurant (no windows) below the Days Inn Vancouver Downtown that serves breakfast at a reduced rate for Days Inn patrons (20% off). Even then, I couldn't recommend this place. Although the meal I had of an omelette, hash browns and toast was just fine, the end price (including coffee) came out to be about... More

The staff at this restaurant was awesome very accommodating in changing drinks out if you didn't care for the taste. Being right there to refill your coffee or tea water. They came around a couple times to see if all was good or if we needed anything else, brought the check along at just the right time. Another customer had... More

Located in the basement of Day's Inn, this restaurant offers a good breakfast menu at reasonable prices - especially since you are downtown Vancouver. Friendly staff, coffee always topped up, quick service. Food was good. I ate there for 2 breakfast's while staying at the Day's Inn.

This place is owned by a nice Asian lady (as many other things in Vancouver) and they have a decent breakfast selection. Prices are good for the area. Went for three consecutive days and it was always good. They do not serve maple syrup.

Stayed at the Day's Inn and needed a quick breakfast before cab came to take us to the airport. Chelsea's is in the basement of the Days Inn. Very clean and cozy atmosphere, quick service. Lots of food. I had hash with poached eggs on top. Lots of hash. It was good. Wife ordered Chelsea's Croissant. It was delicious! It... More

Had breakfast which consisted of a really great cup of coffee. Egg sausage, bacon and cubed potato with toast. It was an ok breakfast but sausage and potato were obviously microwaved because of the very hot temperature. This was a reasonably priced breakfast, served by pleasant staff in an uninteresting basement room.

Typical breakfast fare. All good. Quick friendly service. In the Lower level of our Days Inn hotel. Not expensive and can bill it to your room.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
