The beer was pretty tastey, I’ve had the steamworks pale ale from the bottles but from tap, from the place they make it is next level. That being said, their food is no different from that of regular pub food and took a while to...More
A great selection of beers. Some really lovely food (the chilli is awesome). The waiting staff are all awesome and friendly: and the view is good. Great location down near Gastown. Nothing not to like. Food to suit everyone’s budget or taste. Top place.
Their nitro stout is really quite good. We were there for lunch and decided to split some appetizers as well which were all great (chicken wings, chicken tenders, and calamari). The atmosphere was wonderful and everyone was very friendly.
I'm a recidivist - I visit this place every time I'm in Vancouver. The Steamworks burger is always a good bet - a nice, well-seasoned patty with bacon and cheddar. Even better with a flight of Steamworks beer - so many delicious choices. My friend...More
Lively atmosphere without rowdiness. Great beers available; menu is maybe too expansive/varied to know what the venue’s stand-out dishes are, but the fish tacos were delicious nonetheless. Our server was warm and friendly, and made us feel at home; exactly what we needed after a...More
Great place for dinner with fun 1/4 pint flight of 4 beers of your choice! Geoff, our server, was wonderful at suggesting beers to our liking as well as what to decide on for dinner. He is very knowledgeable about menu items and was super...More
A great and rather large restaurant that will accommodate your needs so close to the water front. We did not order any food but did enjoy their extensive selection of beer which won't disappoint you whether you are more fond of ale or a standard...More
If you’re not familiar with Steam Works beer, you may be rolling the dice on a flight as many of their offerings are a bit out there. To be clear, their German recipes are from Germany, not the beer itself, as the menu boasts.
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of
Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
