We went here for a Sunday afternoon lunch. BBQ chicken burger and quinoa salad with grilled chicken. Also we had a beer tasty menu. Everything was perfect. Interior, staff and food taste. Prices are reasonable, not too cheap but also not really expensive. Waiting time was also ok and Wi-Fi fast. Only downside was the portion size of the salad.... More

Right on the waterfront, Steamworks wont cost you an arm-&-a-leg to eat at. The service was good, as was the food, and they have their own brewery and beers. It's a busy place, and if you want a window seat, I suggest you pre-book. There is a good outside eating area, and on a warm, sunny afternoon it gets well... More

Went for a walk to Gastown and decided to have an early supper. On Nick's advice we went for the chili n toast. With yam fries as an appetizer the meal was delicious and our concerns with whether it was enough to eat ( it was enough )

Great place for drinks and food! Great views if sitting on patio, service is excellent and food is terrific! Make sure you go downstairs to the restrooms to see the brewery, architecture of the building and the staff running up and down that spiral staircase!

Another stop on our Vancouver beer tour. The beer selection was good, but they were out of the appetizer that I was really wanting. Staff was okay, but definitely seemed distracted.

Good beer and seafood. Nachos platter looked great. Wait and bar staff are super friendly. Salmon Risotto and pizzas are fantastic.

As we started our walk into Gastown, passing the Waterfront station building we were tempted by the outdoor area of the restaurant and stopped for lunch - good choice! Good service, good food and drinks and all at a reasonable price. I would recommend this restaurant to fellow travelers without hesitation.

We visited this restaurant on recommendation from the information desk at Vancouver airport. We had a 7 hour layover and it was a beautiful, sunny day. It is an easy 25 minute journey on the sky train from right outside the airport. 2 zone tickets which are cheaper on return than the way out ($9/$4). Can pay by card if... More

Had a great lunch in the patio. Conveniently located at Water and Cordova streets right at the start of Gastown. Started with a Caesar salad and had the pulled pork sandwich and the BBQ chicken burger. All of it was great. Good portion size. Great beer selection.

Thank Lynne R

Staying in Gastown

Neighborhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
