We often have brunch at Provence. The food is always very good, and the service is also good. Sitting on the patio on a nice day is a great way to enjoy a meal. Prices are not cheap but they are reasonable.

Only had drinks here as a stop in the marina area. Great drink menu and very friendly staff! I didn't have wine but they have at least 30 on tap.

The meals & service at Provence is consistently very good. I did though, on my last time there, notice they have shortened their menu a bit. As this restaurant is a short walk from where I live I go there more often than I do city centre restaurants. The view from the restaurant is fabulous. It is located on Marinaside... More

Have eaten at Provence Marinaside many times and today was the BEST! The biggest plus was our server Lin T. who was professional, attentive, knowledgeable and funny to boot. When asked a question she made sure the answer was correct and didn't hesitate to consult someone else to ensure we were given the best answer. Husband spilled a little white... More

When there is seafood soup of any kind on the menu, I order it. The seafood soup at the Provence Marinaside has to be about the worst I have ever had. The soup is a greasy broth with very little substance (i.e., fish) to it. For the main course, I ordered the grilled chicken panini. Another mistake. The chicken was... More

We had a great breakfast of eggs and smoked salmon, the toasted baguette was wonderful. The presentation was inviting and the service very good. This location is near the water ferry stops to Granville Island. We would like to return for dinner dining.

French themed with emphasis on seafood which works really well. Located near the marina with nice views. Trendy looking restaurant with charming service staff. Amongst our party we tried the seafood crepes, eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, poached eggs and a smoked salmon panini. All come with fruit another nice touch. Very busy which reflects its popularity

We loved appetizers and seafood entrees. After mooring our boat in a nearby marina, we were lured into this spot by the aromas and smiling faces. My husband had a caesar salad and shellfish plate, declaring each 'delicious'. I was impressed by the halibut plate (and as someone raised in a family that fished, I consider myself to be a... More

I usually go to this restaurant for weekend brunch, but this time for dinner. My favorite dish is "Seafood linguine," and I chose it for this time, too. My friends and I also shared "Goatcheese salad," which was very tasty with mixed sauce of white wine (creamy!) and balsamic vinegar. Everything is expensive, but is worth it. When you visit... More

Visited for Sunday brunch. Food was excellent, service was not. No coffee or water refills offered as our waiter spent all of his time speaking to the same couple. Waited almost 15 minutes after our table was cleared to get our bill. Maybe you need to be a local to get good service!

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
