We went to Phnom Penh on a local recommendation and it was spot on! We had to wait to get in but it was worth it. The dishes were all very tasty and the service was friendly. The value was excellent for well-prepared, high-quality food. We tried the butter marinate beef, chicken wings and and stir fried beef dish that... More

This restaurant doesn't accept reservations and you have to line up for at least one hour in peak dinner hours. The deep-fried chicken wings are really yummy, and so is the beef carpaccio with Asian herbs and vinegar. Veggie stir-fries aren't bad either. But the frog legs are bland. Spring rolls aren't bad, but not particularly good. Beef noodle soup... More

The food here is amazing you would never be able to tell from looking at it from out side but once inside you will see a wall filled with awards. There Garlic chicken wings are still on my mind. So crispy and flavorful.

We arrived at 7 PM on a Saturday night and were told there was an hour wait but were seated in 35 minutes. Word to the wise, our party observed those waiting who continually asked "how much longer?" were sent to the bottom of the list. The beef carpaccio was the best I've ever had with a strong rice vinegar... More

I read and heard enough about their chicken wings. Now I know how tasty they are at first hand! My friends, who often go there, said that the restaurant is always busy. At lunch time, we waited for more than 30 minutes. They serve food really quickly though...

Arriving in Vancouver from Seattle, we were visiting Canada out of U.S. the first time in British Columbia, one of the most beautiful visiting location places all over the world.

This Vietnamese/Cambodian cuisine is a small gem located in Chinatown as attested by the many people waiting for a seat. Once seated, the staff are helpful and attentive in assisting with selections from their large menu. The food came quickly as ready. There was enough variety for my vegan husband. I had beef and rice that was so flavorful and... More

I'm not sure what type of addictive seasoning they put on their wings ... but every where else I go, they never compare. My boys (6&9) love this place and often dream about going back to Vancouver and eating there. We visit Vancouver at least 3 times a year and every time there's at least 2-3 visits to Phnom Penh.... I have been here multiple times over the past few years. I love it. The food is amazing and the experience well worth the wait. Yah the service kinda sucks but who cares. It's about the food. Most likely you will have to wait, but it is worth it. If there is a line up out the door, you know... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
With the recent exodus of massive new building projects hitting the neighbourhood, Chinatown; which has always been one of the city's most vibrant areas; is even more buzzing and buoyant than ever before. Playing host to some of the city's best pan-Asian cuisine, from fusion food to traditional home-cooking, Chinatown has remained faithful to its roots as a space which clambers with shop signs and welcomes diners to the table. More that that, it has a hip experimental vibe to it, with trendy pop-ups and catchall market shops. The biggest of Canada's Chinatowns, it is also home to an expansive Chinese garden whose manicured grounds inspire and delight, its ponds and pagodas drawing walkers in for an stroll. Take in the red streetlights, the playful awnings, and the upbeat air that suffuse this area.
