Love these two dishes. When we go with more people there's more of a variety to chose from. However the two dishes are like a staple. Delicious! (Just make sure you have some tea to wash down the oil.) It's not for a lightweight eater! Yumm !

The butter beef alone is reason to come here, but the other dishes are wonderful as well. Don't be surprised to find a line to get in at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, as there isn't really a slow time for Phnom Penh.

I don't know how many time I have been to this restaurant. Whenever I'm in Chinatown area, I would drop by unless it is such a busy restaurant so you have to choose a good time to go! Today, I have arrived in this restaurant 10:45 on Sunday, there were no tables already! I had to leave my name (there... More

This hidden gem in Chinatown is widely known for it's chicken wings, served with lemon pepper sauce. You can now get these wings at the Richmond Night Market!

We have traveled to both Vietnam and Cambodia and have extensive experience with Vietnamese cuisine. This restaurant was recommended by several local Vancouverites so we were looking forward to the experience with high hopes. The chicken wings which are a signature dish for this restaurant were very tasty as were the Basil Clams, but not exceptional. The Bahn Xeo and... More

We heard that this place has been around for decades and that Julia Child came often to sample their deep fried chicken wings; so of course, we were determined to try them. Alas! The wait was much too long for our hungry stomachs to bear, so we had dinner elsewhere; but not without ordering their famed chicken wings, to go... More

Must be excellent if people are willing to wait over one hour to get seated. The aromas and flavors different from other southeast Asian restaurants. Their fried chicken wings are not greasy. The oyster crepe was phenomenal in taste and flavor. The butter beef was unforgettable with that special sauce immense cilantro. So much so good.

We've been going to Phnom Penh for years. I had a friend who lived across from the restaurant for a while and we'd often nip over for their chicken wings. I don't know how they do it but I've never had wings like theirs anywhere else. Their other dishes are just as yummy. It's always busy there so I'd recommend... More

Worth the wait for the chicken legs and the fried rice. One of a kind taste especially their chicken wings. Visitors I bring to the restaurant enjoy the food. While waiting for turn to go inside, can look around the area. I hope they can have a cleaner washroom though

Went there on a Saturday afternoon and the Q is impossible with so many people waiting outside ( the Q was still there at 3pm ). How is the cooking? A little over rated since it is simple cooking and no big deal in the streets of Indo-China! Price is not cheap too so how come there are no competitors... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
With the recent exodus of massive new building projects hitting the neighbourhood, Chinatown; which has always been one of the city's most vibrant areas; is even more buzzing and buoyant than ever before. Playing host to some of the city's best pan-Asian cuisine, from fusion food to traditional home-cooking, Chinatown has remained faithful to its roots as a space which clambers with shop signs and welcomes diners to the table. More that that, it has a hip experimental vibe to it, with trendy pop-ups and catchall market shops. The biggest of Canada's Chinatowns, it is also home to an expansive Chinese garden whose manicured grounds inspire and delight, its ponds and pagodas drawing walkers in for an stroll. Take in the red streetlights, the playful awnings, and the upbeat air that suffuse this area.
