Had the breakfast buffet. We were a party of 10 with 6 children. They had no problems accommodating us. The service was impeccable. Our server anticipated kids' needs - she was a pro. The variety of available food was broad but not overwhelming. From cold cereals to hot breakfast meats - you have it all there. The absolute star of... More

Often hotel restaurants are not really up to snuff but we had a wonderful meal (4 adults and one 4 year old) and absolutely delightful service. This is an attractive restaurant with a very interesting menu.

It was a rainy, dreary night so we decided to eat in the hotel dining room. That was a mistake. The food was very disappointing. I ordered beer battered fish and chips and the fish was soggy. My guest ordered a Chicken Ceasar and it was totally uninspired.

We were staying at the Hyatt Regency so I stopped by Mosaic Grill for lunch. I chose a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The salad was good until I got to the middle of the plate and ate what tasted like a pickled anchovy. Just a strange taste in an otherwise good salad. I looked a little closer to the... More

Let up with one of my best friends while visiting Vancouver. Conveniently located downtown within the Hyatt hotel. Sat within the lounge while the restaurant opened for dinner at 5:30 with attentive service and reasonable drink prices for downtown. The restaurant had a good selection of basic food but unfortunately the service within the restaurant downgraded. The server was unaware... More

While listening to live smooth jazz we enjoyed unique cocktails and appetizers. The happy hour specials were great deals and very good. They also have a large bar menu with excellent choices.

This restaurant located in the Hyatt Regency Hotel is on the second floor and should not be confused with the Grain Bar downstairs in the lobby. There is lots to choose from on the dinner menu all reasonably priced. The most expensive item is the Angus steak dinner at $39. My husband ordered this and just loved it! There are... More

We ordered the Asian chicken salad, Alaskan scallop salad and glazed chicken wings. They all tasted amazing, especially the chicken wings. The staff were very friendly as well.

Had a great butter pumpkin soup followed by scallops. Both very good. The restaurant is situated on the second floor at Hyatt Regency, and have a nice view towards the downtown area.

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
