When I used to live in Vancouver, I went here about twice a month. I now live in London UK and every time I visit I'm delighted. They have pizza and pasta for the kids, and my girls found the food excellent especially the big doughy garlic bread. The daily specials and main entrees are delicious, and I've NEVER had... More

The menu is full of easy choices and the staff are more than willing to direct you to those choices in a flash. This place is very kid friendly and we had a fun time with our child during and after dinner.

Small place, some tables can be hard to have a conversations if they are too close to others. Staff is very nice. The salmon dinner was fantastic and a great value. Heard the pizza is amazing but didn't get a chance to try it.

My pizza was okay; my husband's souvlaki meat was okay but his rice was so terrible he couldn't stop talking about it. A good place to come for cheap drinks but eat elsewhere.

Martini's is on West Broadway can be found about 1/2 way between Main Street to the East and Cambie Street to the West. Street parking is reasonable at just $2 for over an hour but be aware that street parking is not available on Broadway during rush hours. We opted for the Martini's special pizza and the baked spaghetti with... More

Just dropped in the grab my favourite "lamb burger" to go - place was packed, but I was still treated like one of the family while I waited at the bar. One of my Vancouver favs!

Food was great. Priced right. And a decent menu. Can't go wrong here. Make sure your date gets into the garlic bread if you have some, the garlic is strong! (But good)

Take away, delivery, ordering out/in... whatever you want to call it, Martini's is still putting it down solidly. 12 years ago I was ordering from them and was unsure if they were going to be a historic loss but they're not history they're currently my longest relationship with a restaurant I have never been to. From steak and prawns to... More

Had lunch at this Italian restaurant. What a surprise. We ordered the Schnitzel with gravy mushrooms, garlic mash and vegetables, salad and garlic bread and the Parmesan Veal with Ham, and a napolitata sauce wth fettuccine, salad and garlic bread. The portions are Hugh and the meal in general very tasty. The garlic bread and salad were great as well.... More

Staying in Shaughnessy

Neighborhood Profile
Residential neighbourhood to the ultra-wealthy, the gorgeous manor houses centred around The Crescent area are a fabled sight to behold. Shaughnessy is Vancouver's most verdant plotted neighbourhood, and its tree-lined streets, walking routes, bike trails, and charming public parks make for an ideal location to spend and afternoon communing with nature. Consequently, it is also the botanical centre of the city, featuring conservatories and an expansive Botanical Garden, taming and sculpting the wild into seasonal viewing areas and enchanting landscapes. Quiet, elegant Shaughnessy excels at providing the Three Gs: Gardens, Golfing, and Galleries.
