Not one thing to complain about. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I was here with a group of about 12 and everyone received all their dishes at the exact same time. Loved how they brought little surprise dishes in between...More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and we went there while vacationing in Vancouver. The place is excellent. It is a French restaurant and both the food and service were superb. I had a lamb shank, my wife fish, my daughter a lobster dish,...More

I've been to Le Croc dozens of time while in Vancouver from Seattle. Food is usually good as are the service and atmosphere. Last night while there with five friends, neither we, nor any other diners could enjoy their dinners due to a loud, drunkrn...More

I have heard about this long standing French restaurant in Vancouver with great reviews for a long time and finally on a couple of friends' recommendations we came here to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant is a little dated and crowed given the prices. The...More

Food was cooked in traditional French manner - excellent service. The restaurant was a bit loud - though I'm sure the 6 of us contributed to the decibel level.

having travelled to many places and eaten foie gras in each corner of the world, I can say with certainty that the muck they serve at le Crocodile is the worst I've ever eaten. The skill of a good chef is to remove the veins...More

Pretentious and over rated, we had a very disappointing experience here. We were initially very excited about the place and picked out what we wanted from the menu, but because we preferred to share one entre and order a number of smaller dishes to share...More

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset

take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

I was at Le Crocodile recently and had an excellent experience. I am planning to return again soon and wanted to ask the regular diners here if there is anything on the menu that I absolutely need to try. On my last visit, we had the tomato avocado crab salad, the truffle pasta special to start, then the special sable fish and the dover soles for mains. Dessert was the special apple tartin and Gateau au Chocolat Moelleux. Loved it all. So if you have any other favorites or recommendations that I must try .. please let me know :)

If they have seared foie gras, go for it. I had the delicious scallops with black ink pasta. Anything is good and if you don't like it, they will fix it!
