Beautiful, cosy and romantic. French restaurant. Ideal for friends, family or couples. All the staff was really nice, our waiter was very kind and the service was extraordinary. The food is delicious! If you are in Vancouver, it’s a nice stop to have a lovely...More

Highly recommended by friends, very crowded all the time and serious problem to get a reservation. So we expected the best restaurant and what a disappointment it was for us. Very expensive wine list, but food was reasonably priced. Taste was under our expectations.

I heard and read great things with this restaurant and was excited to try and book this restaurant for our 3 year anniversary dinner. To our dismay, we called during open hours and no one picked up. Called twice and still no pick up. Furthermore,...More

My husband brought me here for an anniversary dinner. We did the chef's tasting menu for $85 and all the courses did not disappoint at all. This restaurant is definitely a safe choice for a fancy dinner in Vancouver. The service was great and the...More

We finished a Seabourn Cruise in Vancouver and glancing through the magazine my wife found The CROCODILE restaurant in Vancouver. We used to go to the crocodile in Strasbourg. The food was perfect, for me including the apple tart and the wines and the after...More

Just had the best lunch at Le Crocodile. Merci to Chef Michelle for his hospitality and an amazing meal! Everyone should enjoy the cuisine at Le Crocadile when in Vancouver! THE BEST FRENCH CUISINE In the city/country.

Fine dining with such an extensive menu even before the specials were explained. Every course was exquisite with tasters from the chef between courses. The grand Marnier soufflé was the best ever tasted with complimentary drinks because it took longer than they anticipated. We hadn’t...More

A birthday celebration had a group of us sampling the chef’s tasting menu. It really was special - combined with wine pairing this really was a memorable meal. Derive from start to finish was impeccable- from the door opening to the table, it was just...More

Came here for a friend’s birthday and though pricey the service and the food were excellent. I had that day’s halibut special and everything on that plate was so good. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our celebration went well. They came...More

Over 35 years at the same location and virtually the same menu and it is still delicious and fresh. Probably the best tomato soup we have ever tasted. Love the white asparagus and crab meat. Service was attentive without being overbearing. William was wonderful. Excellent...More

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

If they have seared foie gras, go for it. I had the delicious scallops with black ink pasta. Anything is good and if you don't like it, they will fix it!

If you like noise, go to one of those corporate chain restaurants with blaring music. None of that at this fine establishment.
