Any time we have friends visiting we take them here. They sample the weird flavors and usually end up with some form of chocolate after its all said and done. It's not the best Gelato in Vancouver but the place itself is a must-visit experience.

You can rule out the pickles, curry, and vegemite flavors--but how many of the rest should you try? Somehow they don't seem to frown on people asking for multiple tastes. Make a trip of it--this definitely ain't no stopover on the way from point A to point B. But bring cash--they don't accept credit cards.

Visited this place while on vacation and it did not disappoint. You can sample the flavours to help make your decision. There are so many different flavours, everything you can imagine and more. As an indecisive person it took me a while to decide. In the end I chose 3 flavours: Banana Chocolate Cookie Dough, Cherry Cotton Candy and Lemon... More

Very much Italian ice cream store. They have more than 200 flavors and they are all nice to let you try. People that work here are very in a great mood!!! Must come and try it! Best Italian ice cream around Vancouver. Capicci?

This is a favourite destination when my relatives visit from out-of-town. The appeal rests more in the variety than the quality, bit sampling the flavours is encouraged, so you'll definitely find something you like. The lemon ginger sorbetto is my favourite.

We dropped into this hidden gem for a Gelato. Its quite known to the locals, but for tourists not so much. With over 238 flavors, which you can taste, theres sure to suit every taste bud. I had the Gava & Strawberry & Pineapple. Very Tasty. A bit pricey but you get a lot. $5 for 1 scoop, $7 for... More

Grand kids loved it! Grandma loved it. I loved it! What more can I say? Vancouver is real lucky to have such a place. Yesterday was a hot day and it was really crowded.... Hundreds of choices!

In recent years, several remarkably good small batch, home made ("artisan") ice cream shops have opened in Vancouver. And then there's La Casa Gelato. The emphasis here is on spectacle and gluttony. All sorts of ridiculous flavors compete for your attention -- like Cotton Candy, Bithday Cake and many different chocolates (all with the same chocolate base, but each with... More
