We didn't eat here so it's a short review. They were happy to accommodate us with a minor for a drink outside on the terrace. My wife's house wine was good alas our server didn't really have much of a clue as to what she was serving off the beer card, which isn't a great start for a tap house.... More

Like some other reviewers we had a easy choice by walking across the road from L'Hermitage for a fuss free dining experience. The place has a old world feel inside and is comfortable and relaxed. It has a magnificent bar, some nice eating areas and a courtyard area at the back. Throw in some darts a couple of screens to... More

The people of Vancouver love this restaurant. My wife and I do not. The staff was very nice but the menu is limited. Not much choice. But still very popular for others.

It was late and we didn't want to travel far and this restaurant was right across from our hotel the L'Hermitage so we thought we'd give it a try. We both had hamburgers with fries and they were delicious and huge! My husband is a big french fry eater and even he couldn't finish all the crispy french fries they... More

Very friendly staff and a decent menu. Only negative is they are trying out a new appetizer menu that includes fried onion straws. This would be great if they came out hot, or even warm. Instead they are pre cooked and come out at room temp. The other apps and entrees we tried were very good and arrived hot.

Only been in Vancouver 4 days and been here twice. Good selection of beers, good food and staff were friendly. Quite quiet both times we went but have been told it gets very busy if something on at the stadium. Worth a look.

Lovely little venue tucked away just off Robson Street, Great place to enjoy nacho's and a margarita. Best to get a window seat , have the windows open and just enjoy the goings on in the neighborhood. Located just steps away from great shopping. Truly a delightful little spot!

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
